Why haven’t you played the best vr game of all time?

Why haven’t you played the best vr game of all time?
>b-but vr is a meme
No, stop making excuses and play it.

VR is a meme gimmick fad that is already over, shut up Srirent devs.

VR is a fucking meme though and will never catch on

I have and I agree it is one of the best options. It has a fairly decent story mode, solid gameplay, and it isn't afraid to go beyond what would typically be considered acceptable for VR comfort. It actually comes off as a solid middle ground between a larger budget game and the more typical smaller indie developers.

It has awful controls

I'm only getting a headset later this month, but it's on my radar

What kind?

Don't buy this game if you have VR, it's a huge scam.
The controls are dogshit, the weapons are weak, the enemies are bullet sponges, and wallrunning is retarded, and the levels are generic.

>enemies are bullet sponges
No they’re not, many only take 3-4 shots or die in 1-2 slashes

You did upgrade your weapons and level up, right? It took me a while before I realized I could do that. Only the Sumo and somewhat the blue samurai could be considered bullet sponges. Most enemies go down fast. My only issue with controls is that the Vive controllers are poorly designed. Jump/dash had to be bound to the track pad that is also used for movement, which makes it easy to accidentally press. I would agree that the level design could be better. You essentially just move from room to room and kill everything. However, in terms of being able to kill everyone, the levels offer enough variety so you can use the terrain to kill everyone in different ways.

Isn't Sairento just yet-another-arena-wave-based game?

I settled on a rift s

That looks like shit.

It's pretty good, haven't played too far yet. I come back to To The Top more often for some reason.

You can move around maps, that gives it thousand points over other VR shooters instantly.

Most other VR shooters and games in general let you move as well. Super Hot is the only notable game I can think of that doesn't let you. Teleporting died by the end of 2016.

No it actually has real levels

Most I ran into didn't even let you teleport but were wave-shooters where you were standing in place, eternally doomed to just point and shoot.
Then again I didn't look into too many current VR shooters for that reason and because Sairento was fun enough for now

Better than what i have. I went with psvr because I’m cheap

this is not the best.

its fun but lacks content. literally.
>games got like 7 enemies, Samurai, Blue Samurai, Mini Boss Samurai, Sumo fatass, Floating Fan Geisha, Kunai Cunt and a Jian-looking fucking shit.
>Campaign is boring and has unused maps that could be used for other modes
>shitty mini missions that take all of 5 minutes to complete, use the same maps over and over and has different Mission Modes that are basically identical to eachother.
>Survival is just too fucking easy and the only difficulty increase is a few extra mooks to shoot/cut up and they start to one shot you but it takes ages to even get to that point.
>Endless is just as shit as Survival, except instead of an arena, you go through the same 10 Box/rectangle rooms over and over until you die.
>Loot is kinda fine, Legendary items are kinda lacklustre as fuck, some Armor categories are just boring for upgrades, ie, the Boots only get the same 4-5 stat rolls, so its almost always the same just a slightly higher roll as you lvl up.
>Talent trees were fine too, until you reach lvl 100 and have a useless amount of skill points left out that you can't spend in the prestige passives.
>Gunplay is great, being able to switch relatively fast and shooting while also slide slashing is some of the funnest stuff.

I do however have Flips turned off because they really disorient me, but the movement in the game is really fun too.

don't believe these fucking retards, user. Hurr you can move around actual levels!!!!!
here are your options.

Endless Mode! you just keep moving forward, kill the guys in the room before the next room gets opened, repeat the next rooms. each room is small to medium sized and eventually you loop and do the same fucking rooms until you die.

Survival Mode! randomly chosen Arena map that you CAN MOVE AROUND IN but its not huge, just medium sized and enemies are predictable as fuck.

Missions! basically just the same as the other two except this one kinda lets you choose the map and the mission type. but its not much different from anything else.

It doesn't take place in an arena and enemies don't come in waves. You can say what you want about the quality and amount of content, but it isn't an arena wave game.

Surely there's a better webm for making the game look cool?

It is harder than you would think to make a webm that will satisfy Yea Forums. However, the purpose of this one was to show that enemies don't take too many hits to kill.

Being good in VR (especially with most games having slow movement) is vastly more difficult than being good in a regulard KB&M game. Especially recording such things.

Ah.
I have VR, I'm just trying to figure out what games I want to pick up. I just have Beat Saber and Pavlov at the moment.

You can always fuck around with the free Spider-Man "experiences" that are on Steam.

looks slow and shit.
