Why don't they buy any studios? Seems like only Microsoft is acquiring studios these days

Nintendo should buyout rare from Microsoft so they can fire everyone left and just use their IPs.
Why would they? They seem doing pretty fine
nuRARE is only making that pirate game. Is it possible for Nintendo to just buy all of their IP’s that they haven’t touched in over a decade?
They should at least buy Game Freak because it's ridiculous that they don't own them. +Sega, Capcom, Square Enix, Bandai Namco. All those would be good for them
Microsoft should buy Nintendo and use them as their portable/japanese division. Nintendo would remain completely autonomous, only now they'ed be co-operating with Microsoft and putting their games on Xbox while Microsoft also puts their games on Switch. Also Nintendo would be in charge of Rare.
Nintendo already has as many if not more subsidiaries than sony or microsoft. The bigger problem Nintendo has is that they have too many original IP's and not enough original studios working on them. They tend to want to alleviate some of that issue by letting some subsidiaries work on their original IP's to give us metroid prime and nu-dong cunt, but for the most part they have more original IP's than original studios which is why some of their franchises just fucking disappear for a decade at a time.
Nintendo has enough money to buy Square Enix, Sega & Capcom, but they aren't allowed because Japanese law prohibits monopolies
Despite this I am pretty sure someone high up just fucking hates f-zero and shuts down any and all pitches for a new one.
There are only three companies Nintendo should buy:
>Platinum
>Yacht Club
>Nicalis
DESU outside of Pokemon, Gamefreak doesn't make very good or memorable games. They'd be better investing in a new, small team.
Inb4
>implying Pokemon is good
Nintendo lost when they let Minecraft slip through their fingers. Biggest corporate blunder of the 10s
>nicalis
Why would they want to buy a bunch of no talent hacks?
Seems like it's more cost effective for them to commission lower budget projects from studios they don't own like IS and Platinum.
Did nintendo by any of Hudson after it went under?
Didn't konami buy all their shit?
Like what? I guess they could buy NIS if NIS fails to get back on their feet.
Former Hudson staff supposedly went to work at NDcube (the new Mario Party developer) which is completely owned by Nintendo.
They should buy WayForward.
Aren't nicalis mostly publishers? If they bought them, what good would it serve?
this
That's a shame. Those guys were pretty cool with nintendo despite technically being console rivals in gen 4
Wayforward spent a good decade being snubbed by bigger publishers only to show them all up when Digital markets and easier self publishing let them release a ton of successful games on their own.
Working directly under nintendo wouldn't be bad, but I think they have kind of a pride at this point for how much they can do on their own.
Shantae would get instantly added to Smash if Nintendo bought WayForward though.
It's Tyrone posting
They should buy Konami or some of their ips, i think Castlevania and Bomberman fit so well to Nintendo due to games in the past
Everyone wants a piece of the Nintendo switch exclusive dime spawning pie.
Thank God
drill dozer
in theory it is possible, but both Nintendo and Microsoft have to want, and neither seems to do
