Games that Yea Forums shilled that turned out to be huge failures?

Also recently the huge flop Mordhau

>lmao I'll just create the same thread twice
Why are you nintendofaggots so fucking obnoxious?

artifact was destined to be shit as soon as we learned it was dick gafield's garbage.

Nobody on Yea Forums shilled Artifact.

Unlike you, I was actually on Yea Forums at the time and this board is full of Valve drones. Anyone in denial is just trying to rewrite history to make Yea Forums seem like they were smart and ahead of the curve

My bad. You right. In your own headcanon Yea Forums shilled it. But back in reality Yea Forums barely talked about it and when it was brought up it was shat upon.

If Fireden was still up, I could show you the shill threads

Oh, but, you know, you can now pretend Yea Forums wasn't interested because Fireden isn't around anymore you little Valve loving faggot.

there was some cautious optimism as a serious competitor to hearthstone, but the entire genre has fallen in popularity. in general though, actual valve fans were pissed the only new valve game in years was a cheap looking dota card game

Valve drone here, I was in the audience when everyone boo'd that shit at the international.

Is that why Gaben thought it'd be a success?

>mordhau flopped
why would you want a sword fighting game akin to chivalry to be massively popular and full with casual players.

Everyone shat on Artifact what are you talking about sir.

>Peak 60k

steamspy.com/app/583950

>Owners: 1,000,000 .. 2,000,000

It's pretty clear Valve drones fell for it and are now too embarrassed to admit it

boards.fireden.net/v/thread/386633128/#386633128
fireden is up, and this is from a thread the day after it was announced
notice that everybody is shitting on it

>Peak 60k
Yeah that's embarrassing alright. Less than Evolve's peak.

Any fucking porn game, especially ones that have a patreon.

>mordhau flopped
maybe for the casuals but it's got ranked duels now and is getting more maps soon

boards.fireden.net/v/search/subject/artifact/page/11/

Literal unironic shill threads for the whole page

Thanks for helping me curbstomp you and the other Valve drones

the general sentiment was negative, why do you think it did so poorly?

Only good thing came out of Artifact was selling cards for a lot of fucking money which I regret not buying it because my friend got fucking $500

River city girls

mordhau was hugely successful

Yea Forums never shilled artifact most people were uninterested

No Man's Sky had tons of shills before release
I remember arguing with some anons who kept saying you could do anything in the game

>Check the threads
>No posts or few posts telling OP to fuck off
>The ones that do have more then 10 replies are constantly shitflinging each other
Yeah, so many shills

Axecoin WILL bounce back
Demand will only increase

You'd think Valve with their infinite money supply could find a couple people capable of making a balanced and engaging card game but I guess not.

How did they expect artifact to even have a chance when it wasn't f2p

There's an important fucking distinction between
>games that Yea Forums shilled
and
>games that had shills come to Yea Forums

I could make 100s of threads talking about eFootball Pro Evolution Soccer 2020 and how it will revolutionize foot based sportsball simulations until my ethernet port has an orgasm from my constant ban evasion, and it still won't mean "Yea Forums" is shilling it.

Money cannot buy everything.

Also, Artifact only happened because Garfield pitched the game and a bunch of Garfield fanboys at Valve bought into the hype. The game mechanics was almost 100% Garfield.

Yea Forums was a mistake

"Classic" WoW.

>shilled to shit by rose-tinted retards here
>barely one day after release all threads drop off the face of the earth
>reports start pouring in about the absolute state of the game

I wish there was some graph of suicide rates by week somewhere, cos it must have skyrocketed when all these retards learned that their nostalgiafagging "old thing good new thing bad" was bullshit all along

I have never seen a single person, not one, on Yea Forums or otherwise, that has ever said a single positive thing about Artifact.

Zero.

Nil.

X where X=0.

"among those not working at Valve" is a list that includes every single human being who is currently alive, since even those employed by Valve are also not working.

and servers are still full with 3+ hour waits and people love it

grarfliled lasaga

Just wait until Cyberpunk gets released

I remember Yea Forums shilling to no end until it was confirmed to be a GTA clone

ITT no one understands the term "shill"
HINT: It doesn't mean "someone spoke positively about a game I don't like."

artifact is not bad. what is bad is the transaction model. honestly, nowadays even paper MTG can be played for free at your local LGS, why the fuck make a digital-only cardgame paid is beyond me. the fact that they don't have free-but-untradeable cards a-la TF2 achievement reward weapons is stupid and no good gameplay will save it from this

Yeah but Epicfags seem to want to commit historical revisionism on that and say that Pcbros shilled it to hell and back before release just to make them look way more pathetic than they actually are. Artifact was a flop, nobody can deny that, but I never, I repeat, NEVER saw somebody shilling for the game.

shut the fuck up shill

Are you shilling for disagreeing with me? Big mistake, shill.

>40.000 is a good number for a card game
>Why are you not making money with artifact, user?
>The price is perfect to avoid dealing with poorfags
>Of course it doesn't have good numbers of twitch, people are playing instead of watching (who watches a card game anyway?)
>Axe's card is gonna be expensive as fuck in a couple of months
>Can't wait for the million dollar tournament
>You can see how fucking scared blizzard is right now

Not a game, but Epic's launcher is getting shilled HARD in here.

Blizzard and Ubisoft are the companies with the most paid shills in here. Then consider that WoW is for fat neckbeards (which is how I imagine 90% of Yea Forums) and you just know that they mostly shilled here.

Stay mad, retailfag

Just wait a year so they finish the rework, the game gonna totally kill hearthstone this time :^)

the fuck are you talking about
everyone thought that it was going to be dead on arrival except for magic the gathering fags
I was even at that TI in real life and the crowd was booing that shit because they thought it was gonna be a mobile game hearthstone ripoff

>implying

Don't you have some queues to go wait in?

was it? i hardly see any threads on it before the release

The ubi shills or so obivous it hurts

Mordhau sold over a million copies several weeks ago. In what world is that a flop for a Kickstarter game?

I bet upcoming shooter game threads are gonna drop off the face of the earth once the game releases. Obvious sign that the game is shilled.
Reminder marketers aren't human.
