I like Deltarune more than Undertale so far, with the only thing I think is worse is that it feels unfinished, but that's because it literally is.
Hopefully Chapter 2 comes out by 2021.

It's crazy to me that a one chapter demo could be better than a full fledged game, but the music, the combat, the characters, are all a drastic improvement.
I also prefer the overall tone more than Undertale and the characters feel more natural in the setting of the town.
And it has Susie.

Deltarune. It doesn't feel as moralistic or pretentious as Undertale. Yeah some of the bad humor is there, but the gameplay and story doesn't sound like it's talking down on me. I can fight monsters and not get punished for it. And that's all i fucking want. Plus the soundtrack is such a fucking step up from Undertale that it renders all the criticisms I had against Tony Fox as a composer moot because of how much Toby Fox has improved.
