This game has better randos than L4D, to be honest. It's rare to have a team that doesn't know in the slightest what they should be doing. I think I've only had 1 team with dicks in it who were actively working against us, for that matter.

I don't like the game, shit covering your screen whenever you dig or hit something (be it dust or blood or anything making a cloud) is annoying to me.

The advantage DRG has there is that you can't die if you get downed.
It gives massive leeway for fuck ups and whatever build you feel like, so you only get the real 'spergers in Haz 5

Waiting for the endgame update. I'm playing Remnant: From the Ashes in the meantime. Once the endgame update comes out, I'll play that until Remnant gets an update.

Thankfully the gunner is there for all the gormless retards who just want to play TDM

And even Gunner has utility. Ziplines are extremely useful. So dumbasses who just want to hold the trigger can still be credit to team.

But I have been playing it user, all I have to do before the update drops is promote my gunner and I've got a full roster ready for deep dives, can't wait

Yeah but it's use is more sporatic and less involved, on top of being way more optional to a team. Aside from Point Extraction you lose the least amount of use from a Gunner playing DRG like Call of Duty than you do from anyone else except maybe Driller on a bad map for him

Yea this, and sadly I dont think Remnant is even going to be active by the time it gets meaningful content, and said content IS going to cost money so the game is going to die on its ass. Just like Let it Die, money grabbing makes the game go from something that could have a cult following to something that is forgotten and treated with resentment over how it fucked up.

An ideal team has one of everybody. You can get by without any class, but I wouldn't say that not having a gunner is ideal, or that he is more optional than anybody else.

The Adventure Mode update is going to be free. The real deciding factor is how much new content (weapons, armor, and worlds) each real update is going to have and how much it's going to be priced.
I'm hopeful because I like what Gunfire has brought to the table so far and I'd like to see where this game goes and see how this is going to influence Darksiders in the future.

I'm waiting for the deep dive patch.

Well, unlike L4D it's pretty easy to solo and just ignore the rest of the team. If you're determined to solo, all you need are the sixth sense, iron will, and vampire perks. As long as you don't get knocked down any pits by rollers or trawlers, its pretty easy even on Haz 5.

Gunner has his shield for when things start getting shitty, scout has his grapple, engie has his taunt nade, and driller can dig a tunnel and turtle inside of it and place c4 at the entrance to blow up massive waves. Pretty much everyone has their own "Oh shit" mechanic so at the current limits of difficulty it's pretty easy once you know what you're doing.

I really liked it but if the content packs cost anything Im out. However they add gated content it is going to divide the playerbase of an already small playerbase, ensuring it dies. They are for sure going to be adding multiple packs, and I dont think the game has legs enough to be able to actually do this and still be active.
