There always needs to be a retard version of PC for the general public, and Microsoft completely fucked up their presentation of the XBONE. Sony actually could've released the exact same product after Microsoft shot themselves in the foot, and it would've sold just as well as the PS4.

If I recall, both Microsoft and Sony were planning on making it impossible to sell or trade used games, but Microsoft announced that first. Then Sony quickly shot a video in a hotel or something of the two dork Sony presenters trading a game, as a jab against Microsoft, and Sony won. That pretty much sums it up.
