SA's stage 4 is absolutely fantastic thematically, but SA's life system doesn't do much to entice me, a survival player, to really optimize the stage. As long as I know the bomb spots, I have no reason to ever collect point items. It plays really well though, and so does MoF's stage 4. As for bosses, R/M is much more enjoyable than Aya to me. Satori comes close, most of her spell cards are great fun.
