Nobody bitches exclusively about 0's piss easy item "management". The map fucking tells you where every item is.
People complain about other awful shit. Like needing to use the hookshot across multiple different areas with no warning sign that it will be used, boring level design, a partner AI that just results in you getting 6 extra item slots and some back up when you're reloading (making the game far easier), and a dogshit tier story that makes no fucking sense and shoehorns in a brand new character that was never mentioned before and only one time after, and that was in RE5, a game about calling back to past titles.
