The Manuela paralogue is mostly fine because it actually loads you in as a group. You just need to have really fast units/Flayn with rescue to do it. It's a challenge.

The map normally fucking separates everyone and usually what will happen is the enemy will run to the other fucking side so there's a bunch of turns where you're just fucking chasing them.

That’s pure conjecture though, it’s not even remotely hinted at ANYWHERE. Hubert might not have had the same agency to write that letter with Arundel/Thales getting himself killed.

The BL plot sweeps a lot of the lore and background information under the rug just to tunnel vision on the emotional argument and central conflict of Dimitri vs Edelgard, and while on the surface it looks like the happiest ending if you think about it for even a second and contrast it to the other endings there is a LOT of loose ends that are just ignored

The Church even founded the Empire, if they truly wanted to have some sort of authoritarian rule over fodlan then Adrestia would be a theocratic imperial state and the church wouldn’t even need to exist as a third party

There was a lot of time between Nemesis and the Ten Elites slaughtering the dragons at Zanado to when Seiros/Rhea finally killed Nemesis. I think it's implied that Nemesis either started a kingdom, or was in the process of bringing everything under his control during that time. By that point, the Ten Elites had probably passed on their crests to their children. She could either kill every single descendant to end the crest bloodline, or spin a fake history of crests being divinely-chosen so that she could install herself at the head and control everyone.
