Dude, I'm actually really loving the way this game looks. Might actually pick it up. I love RPG's anyway and this checks all the boxes for me. Really? I saw that you can use one handed blades, two handed weapons, and firearms. Also there is magic, but I don't know how deep you can go in a firearm build? Seems to be a lot of talents for firearms though, but it is weird if they can't let you use guns like a regular weapon and it's more of a skill? I know swords show on the character I believe. I don't know anything really about magic and how deep magic goes in the game, like I don't know if you can summon meteors or some crazy shit like channel lightning strikes.

Considering there was only one good Dragon Age game I hope this is good too.

I think there are like five or six party members but each one has their own specialization and playstyle, but you can only have three people in a party, so you pick the other two people you want in your party. It's like any typical RPG game that lets you build your party. I know you can also upgrade their armor, weapons, accessories, etc.

I thought outer worlds would be on the Microsoft store as well since they own Obsidian now.

It's also on Gamepass so you can play it for a few pennies.

I am cautiously optimistic about this game. Spiders game are usually fun enough but but nothing i would buy at full price. Will see some gameplay and reviews after release and see if this feels better or not.

And it's from the dev's official YT channel. The setting would have been PERFECT for a more precise and tactical combat system. Instead we get half mile "dodges", rock-dumb AI and super-arcade weapons.

I actually like that, but the way the swords and rifles aren't actually on your character is a big what the fuck for me. Unless they're all actually related to magic rings that connect to a pocket space and you call them into your hands kind of thing, but even then I would rather have a rifle slung over the back rather than magically appearing for a moment.

Technomancer made me want to kill myself, it was their most polished game but lacked the SOUL of Mars: War Logs.

Well when I saw combat footage it was mainly them using magic to dodge and slashing with a sword, and the rifle seemed to be a ability with a cool down. I could be wrong but if that's the case I am going to be somewhat disappointed.

Same. I usually go with magic in RPGs but might avoid it in this one. From what little I've seen in the yt vids, they launched fireballs from their hands and did teleport dashes.

Can you actually use native magic? Everything I'm finding is standard arcane magic, not the druid shit the natives use. Apparently the colonials have a magic aristocracy.

Looks like both magic trees are locked at the start, and just based on the old and new icons one is standard fireballs and arcane magic, probably colonial magic, and one is some kind of weird shit that is probably native magic.

i purchased it on PS4 because of Yea Forums's hype.
graphics looked like someone used a Smudge tool on everything and then lowered the resolution. Magic system seemed neat until i actually gave it a try and it was literally just a way to Gimp yourself in an already unrewarding game.

But this game, i found on my own before i seen any Yea Forums threads and hyped myself up for it, so if its shit in the end, i won't blame you, Yea Forums.
