Will there ever again be a WRPG with a harem route?
Will there ever again be a WRPG with a harem route?
westerners are obsessed with the idea of spending your life with one person so probably not
Even eastern ones (not counting porn games) don't have them often. Even games with 8+ romance options expect you to settle on one.
excuse me it's called polyamorous relationship
excuse me it's called KEK KEK KEK
I love Jade Empire so much, I haven't played it in like 11 or 12 years tho. The only thing I don't understand is the implementation of the plane minigame.
Such a cool unique concept of having a martial arts wrpg based in ancient China. I'm suprised we haven't gotten a horrible reboot pandering to the Chinese audience yet. Thank god for that.
I wish there was.
I've seen harem done right in only a hadfull of nip pieces of media, because for it to work, there has to be a lot of characterization for the actual harem to make sense- things need time to develop twords that, especially in settings analogous to our own where that typically isn't accepted.
But when it's done right, after a long slow burn, DAMN does it feel good.
It would probably be gacha
What JRPGs that are not porn games have a proper harem ending?
Only one I can remember is conception 2.
Being able to advance romance with multiple characters is different.
The most tedious part was the ghost fights with the annoying magic missile shooters that teleported around
Will there ever be an RPG with a yandere companion?
oh yeah, that whole graveyard section can be a spot iirc.
Tiger claw is the best style for that. The light attack auto tracks them very fast.
I was going to say no, but...
I forgot about this. Polyamory may be one of the next big cultural tolerance movements, it's already growing in some of the hotspots that tend to get those early. Wait a few years and polyamorous relationships may well be the big thing everyone shoehorns into games for virtue points.
Problem is, they will implement it so the girl you like goes to stuff herself with 37 dicks.
Pathfinder Kingmaker has a canon harem route with a pair of hot Tiefling twins.
Based Rokujouma bro.
>what is Fable and Skyrim
You can only marry one person in these games. Not counting mods
Patently untrue for Fable, you can have a wife in every town.
Pathfinder kingmaker not only allows you to get a threesome ending, it's a threesome ending with twins. Tiefling twings.
HEY
FAGGOTS
I'd like to remind all y'all that "harem" involves a minimum of three (3) girls and one guy. Two girls is just a love triangle.
Oh , I forgot that. Still, Fable 1 was older than Jade empire and aside from a couple cases like Lady Grey, you marry random npcs.
Better provide an official definition for that user. Your ass does not count
Hell yeah.
We all have our favorites, but at the end of the day, they're all great girls, and one big comfy family.
Fable 3 also has spouses in every area code
>that OP pic
Clover from Fallout 3 qualifies (even if it's due to her being a brainwashed slave obsessed with whoever owns her), but as all companions in that game, she was undeveloped and boring.
>where a male character is surrounded and loved by many female characters.
>Harem, broadly speaking, is a loose subgenre of anime and manga characterized by a protagonist surrounded, usually amorously, by three or more members of the opposite sex
>It typically features a High School–aged male lead with at least two (usually at least three and often a lot more) available girls who may be actively interested in him but at the very least are bound by circumstances to be close to him
According to the websites I found it's always 3 or more. 2 girls is just a love triangle, not harem
This, only cucks demand faithful gfs/bfs/wives/husbands
It's in our genes to fuck around.
Sorry you're too ugly to join the fun
Crusader Kings 2 truly is based.
This is how you start wars
Says the cuck
Okay uggo, keep your forced purity while everyone has fun.
Does he penetrate her cunny?
It's probably due to Christian westerners being obsessed about bloodlines and familial inheritance in general.
In Eastern cultures (or pre-Christian Rome) it was not uncommon to adopt prominent man outside your close family as your heir instead of grooming your own son for it.
Lol ok buddy, look at reality i will be glad to dick down your wife while you watch cuck.
>In Eastern cultures (or pre-Christian Rome) it was not uncommon to adopt prominent man outside your close family as your heir instead of grooming your own son for it.
So basically cuckoldry.
Sorry, but uggos aren't welcome.
Basically yes, but it worked for best for their societies. Ancient cultures also commonly placed value on widows/divorcees with children as wives, since they were confirmed to be capable of bearing children.
>Basically yes, but it worked for best for their societies
>only cucks don't like to be cucked
>Ancient "cuck" cultures
>Great empires
>Modern "noncuck" culture
>low effort soi wojaks
>jade_empire
>sequel never, new game in same setting too
>even if that happen nu-bioware probably find way to ruin it
Rip.
i find it astonishing that the whole wuxia rpg genre is not explored like at all outside of chinese mmos. You can do so much with it, yet we have boring fantsy with elves #582 and not space marines #15492 as rpg settings.
Will there ever again be a WRPG where you can mind-control and enslave all the women of your party and actively threaten to rape them all later?
Pretty sure that's not Clover in your pic
>jade empire
Sell me this game. Good wrpg? Anything unique about it?
Asian Fantasy setting. Otherwise, it is very similar to Knights of the old Republic.
Not gonna lie, when I were younger I replayed Jade Empire several time from late chapter 2 onward only for the slavery scene. The idea of building a strong companionship only to enslave them all later and throw it to their faces and laughing at them.
Admittedly, I replayed VtMB for Heather for pretty much the same reasons, so my younger self had problems.
I tried taking the harem route in The Witcher 3 before getting blueballed because I forgot Yen and Triss were actual characters and not japanese sex slaves
if you like the old bioware formula, you will enjoy jade empire.
I just want more wuxia RPGs. The ones out of china are all jrpg trash.
It's probably the weirdest game Bioware ever made, both in terms of writing and gameplay.
Source plz?
Jesus CHRIST that bitch on the left is ugly. Right doesn't look good either.
BUT IT WAS JUST 1 GIRL
