It is funny seeing people posting soldier dudes, marines and character with guns as wish characters for Smash.
Nintendo isn't going to add characters from your shitty first and third person shooters cause, first, they all look boring and shit, second, most of them aren't even related to nintendo or have a big legacy in gaming and third, this is a lighthearted, family game. You aren't going to have people shooting realistic guns in Smash.
Snake is the exception and he is incredible cartoonized. More, Snake in Smash never really use traditional guns. The gun he uses the most is a cartoon rocket launcher and a mortar. No rifles or pistols.
This is smash where quality and consistency matters.
If you want amateur, mugen shitty level of content, go play playstation all stars battle royal.
It's the place to play as guy with guns, guy with guns 2, killzone guy, guy with lightning powers and big daddy
