Lets settle this once and for all. Who was in the wrong here?

Innocent people were transformed into monsters in the process so Marche was right obviously even though he autistically chose to focus on the escapism aspect to argue about it
OP was in the wrong for continuously making these threads.
true enlightenment is realizing that neither side was wrong and at the end of the day the one with the power to enforce their will is "right"
You are.

Based Seto Kaiba, revealing what morality is all about.
Marche was someone who destroyed the happiness of everyone he knew for his own selfish desires to go home. He wasn't "evil" or "wrong", but his moral argument was wrong since he was just as guilty of trying to shape the world to his ideals as everyone else was. the only thing that made him feel "right" was that his ideal world coincidentally was the one that already existed before the world changing magic activated.
I would have been fine with Kaiba's actions here if he didn't take this as a legit victory against Yugi.
Is there any rival character in fiction better than Kaiba?
Yugi cheats all the time with the power of love
No.
Kaiba is one of those characters that absolutely trascends his source material, I would kill to have been the one to come up with him
Yugi cheats with the power of magic and actual cheating
i'm legitimately surprised kaiba hasn't cheated more
I don't understand
The game for preaching against it's own medium like as if that is a brave or original take. Media which is conventionally considered to be low brow taking a bite out of itself is a cheap trick which insecure writers do as a shortcut to depth.
To be fair he absoutely did not gloat about this, he only saw it as a testament to who was willing to go that extra mile. And He goes on record to say this match didn't prove anything after all is said and done, he just wanted to save mokuba and even with this win he was still fucked over by Pegasus since he still needed to fight him to actually save his brother.
This is actually a pretty good point. Its like how in the Cable Guy everyone criticized it for being dark when the actual thing that dragged it down was the whole corny "TV bad" message which came out as really hypocritical coming from a film.

Have the high res version.
>Marche was someone who destroyed the happiness of everyone he knew for his own selfish desires to go home
everyone was selfish. he just wanted to go home
Yes but just as many people got it a million times better, including his own crippled brother. Absolutely no excuse there.

>Fuck all the people who got turned into monsters and killed
>Fuck all the people who weren't lucky enough to be suddenly rich like me
>Fuck all the people who had specific goals or dreams that could only be accomplished in the real world
That's not how that works, you're not allowed to torture the innocent to improve the lives of others.
that a dude? with that ridiculous haircut? I always thought from the sprite it was a girl
Of course I am, others are worth nothing compared to me.
Marche was a coward who didn’t go all the way. Imagine if he destroyed real reality and freed everyone from that bullshit
