I decided to go full tilt with my autism the other day and brainstorm a moveset for them. Would be pretty cool. The only first parties I could see getting in are the Astral Chain Twins and Byleth. If Sakurai held off on giving Rex a mii-costume initially and waited a bit I think he'd be a likely choice, but right now I dunno. Waluigi's a maybe, I guess, but if any Assist Trophy is becoming a fighter I'd much rather it be Alucard. Wouldn't be surprised if Sakurai ends up deciding to bend the rules a tiny bit for the additional fighters.

I saw Masahiro Sakurai at a store in Tokyo yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him to add a character to Smash or anything. He said, “Have you ever made a game?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “eh? eh? eh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face with a painful look on his face each time he closed his hand. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I saw him check on his IV bag as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Amiibos in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he started playing music on Smash Ultimate's sound test on his switch and pretending not to hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the Amiibos and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to transfer coupon codes to the amiibo,” and then turned around and bowed for me. I don’t even think that’s possible. After she scanned each Amiibo and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by choosing a character on the character select screen in Smash Ultimate and having the announcer repeatedly say the character's name with the switch's maximum volume.
