I love it!
Never played it
tekken 7
Kindda bummed they didn't port it to Switch tho. Would have enjoyed playing it comfy in my bed.
Me and four of my friends get together on Friday nights and play vidya. Me and a good friend of mine realized we hadn't played through Twilight Princess in several years, and our other friends had never played it. We started and beat Forest Temple tonight. Lots of fun.
What does Yea Forums think of it though
t. seething fag
who cares what Yea Forums thinks, what matters it that you had fun playing a game you love
I meant more in the spirit/point of the thread, "others will give their opinion on it"
My third favorite Banjo-Kazooie game, and for sure in my top 10, probably around 7 or 6
Oh wait I didn't see what thread this is.
Yeah that game is shit. Fuck Twilight Princess
I fuckin suck at it and got wrecked but I like it.
I love it. Overwhelming soul.
I can see why people love them. However it was consistently frustrating when I knew what to do but not the right timing for it.
I just started IV but I will get to this one eventually.
It's solid. I always feel like Zelda games are more than the sums of their parts.
A very underrated game. I think people were just sour that it wasn't another RPG. It was a charming, soulful, unique game that I would love to play again sometime soon.
Basically the most a character can suffer in vidya. The Berserk of vidya and if you don't pick Deborah you're a retard because her turning from tsundere bitch to lovable wife is the true man's path.
never played.
I am going down the bad ending route. in this
Nice. This game sucks ass.
I'm playing Grandia on my switch because I sold my PS1 JRPG collection years ago. I don't mind the sprite filters.
You can emulate it easily.
Besides, for people that don't want to touch their Switches that way, Rare Replay is probably coming very soon.
Could have easily been fixed, it's the FF12 of Zelda. Should have been a 10/10 masterpiece, but wasn't due to horrible development & Nintendo being ignorant as to what the fans wanted. Here's how i would fix it
> Release it in 2003 after Majora's Mask
> Market it as a direct sequel to OOT & Majora's Mask
> Instead of a new Link, use the same link & tell the story about how he found his way back to Hyrule after MM
> Use Cell shaded graphics but keep the art direction of OOT
> Demostrate how Link was filled with regret & end the game with Link becoming the Hero's shade after saving the world for the last time
> Since Ganondorf is dead, use Zant as the primary antagonist
> Balance the dark moments in the story with light-hearted moments, to prevent it from being an emotional drag
> No bullshit Wolf Link sections
> Instead of Midna, make Zelda your companion
> First Half of the game takes place in Hyrule, 2nd half takes place in the Twilight Realm
> Hero of Time Trilogy now has a faithful conclusion, next two 3D Zelda's are Wind Waker & Phantom Hourglass
Reminds me of ALTTP, i also started playing it on the PS2. And it's extremely well paced & is shockingly dark right now, the part in the castle has amazing atmosphere & the story about the family being slaughtered by monsters captivated me & makes me want to continue playing. For those that have finished it, does the story continue to get darker later like this later in the game? Because it has amazing writing right now
Neptunia Re;birth 3
Only played the 3rd one so far gonna go through 1, 2 and 4 with gamepass then probably get 5 since I've heard good things about it
I really like IV and I know it's popular to bash V which I tend to do but IV really was a better game. The physics, the shooting, the audio, the atmosphere, and soundtrack was just better in IV
Gears1 has a horror element to it more so than any Gears after it. 3 is the definitive Gears experience for gameplay but the first was a good game overall. I don't give a fuck about Gears or Halo after 3 story wise and I never picked them up so maybe I'm missing out by not playing 4 but 3 was just a good finale to me.
Finished it last week for the very first time.
I found the overall story ludicrously slow and mostly almost a secondary thing, there should've been a bigger focus on Malak I think. The twist was nice, but since Light and Dark sides are so set in stone the game misses the chance to stay in a nice in-between gray. Still, fun. Full of soul.
Fantastic game. The sequel's even better, I think.
Together they're literally the best indie games out there. The Hotline Miami series is the peak of indie gaming.
Just finished this entire game, all the way through World D.
I thought it got intensely unfun by the end.
Really fun.
Been playing this a lot.
I haven’t played through the 5 story yet but I like the gameplay better than 4 so far
1 and 2 have the best campaigns
I've never played that specific version, but KoF02 is easily the apex of the series, despite being outsourced.
Who's on your main team fellow KoFbro?
Oh fug, was in another room
Yamazaki, Mature, Billy
It's a terrible game with awful mechanics that solely exists due to its high level of polish and continued developer support.
Incidentally it's also the last game I played too; just got demoted from red to orange AGAIN.
Excellent taste, don't see enough Mature players these days
Man I just replayed this too, 100% in about 7 hours.
Either the XBLA version was a bigger change than I thought or I was fucking stupid as a kid.
Good, but a little drawn out. I don't like how it doesn't really pick up until chapter 4.
Still one of my all-time favorites, though.
Easily one of my favorite games for the Wii, and I collect for it so I have a lot of options. Just taking a breather to check Yea Forums and drink some tea and im going right back to it.
So much fun. Now that you've beaten it you're ready for this
Great game
Only played the Wii version, but I enjoyed that despite needing to waggle the Wiimote
Different, but that doesn't make it bad
Fun as fuck
A massive, fast-paced trip through insanity. Pretty much amazing
Hard as hell, a little unforgiving but it's still just good old Super Mario Bros
A fantastic little game, the battle system is fun to use and the music is incredible
Under-fucking-rated
Id argue the game is unfun in the very beginning, and I like hard games.
There's just always been something about it I dont like.
One of the best WarioWare games period. Dance Company was kino.
Doesn't deserve the hate it gets sometimes, it shook up the formula well and had a fantastic story.
The sheer fun of the characters and world were worth the rpg trade off.
fucking love it
Played through that again a few weeks ago. Easily one of the best RPGs ever made in my opinion. It just oozes pure charm, and it plays way better than, say, classic final fantasy, which was still pretty standard at the time.
The older I am the more I care that I suck at it, and less I feel like playing it. It was fun when I didn't care though
I actually love the story, and I like Liberty City a lot, second best GTA after San Andreas
Very fun, didn't care about the story
I'm surprised how well it holds up considering I haven't played it since it came out.
Everything is so solid and pretty forward thinking combat wise for the time. The badge system in particular is far more robust than I remember it being.
Looking forward to replaying TTYD and Super after this.
Kill La Kill: IF
I thought n64 emulation was still a bit sketchy? Also how probable is Rare replay coming to Switch? I heard that the port of some games could be a real hassle.
It's pretty fine, just make sure you try out the different plugins to get it to run a bit smoother if you run into issues.
Even PJ64 isn't that bad, I played a bit of BK recently and it ran well enough.
