Terry is a bigger deal than the entirety of the Smash series. It's a shit game for shit people. Fucking casual cucks need to fucking die. Fatal Fury is a masterpiece of fighting games just below Street Fighter as GOAT. It's far superior to Mortal Kombat or Tekken in terms of technical sophistication and timing. The characters are all unique and we'll designed and the games always played like a dream. Geese Howard is one of the best villains in fighting game history. Brits made high and far better changes to the screen titles, for example, Instead of being King of Dreamland it's "He says he's a King and that's that."

My take is it's a respectful choice. It's fun to see the transition to the SSB style. I main Ryu/Ken and they have some of the most satisfying fighting styles because it feels especially authentic. But it's a more niche franchise when you'd suspect a Tekken rep or more creative options. The past few DLC have all had whacky styles so I see why people are underwhelmed.

KoF became Kyo's game and we saw less and less of Terry and he kind of just faded out of my mind. I was surprised when he was announced and a little disappointed but the more I think about it, he's actually the guest character I care most about. I didn't expect him or want him before his reveal but now seeing him in game I really, really like him being in Smash.

Probably one of the most unique swordfighters i've had the pleasure to use. I'm usually not in for more swordfighters in Smash because they're not that fun but nothing in SoulCalibur or Tekken inspires me as much as Yoshimitsu

So I did some digging and it seems that fighting games were so popular in Latin America because the taxes on consoles and games were so high that kids just preferred playing in the arcades.
