Because fortnite updates all the time. Every 2 weeks something new's stuck in, something old is taken out or changed, there's SOMETHING changed. every 2 weeks. Other games have to scrimp and crunch to get shit out once every 2 months. Until fortnite slows down it's rate of updates, it'll continue to sit atop the throne.

League of legends used to release new champions every 2 weeks, it stopped, and look what happened, it died from lack of new content. Lack of things people could do that were new or engaging.

You can't "play" television, passive consumption is the default mode. Not a comparison.

If it's anything like blizzcon blizzard quietly forces a stream to load in the background of the blizznet launcher to boost their viewer numbers. That or chinese bots like league. A game that barely scrapes 100k viewers somehow pulling damn near 1m during worlds, yeah fucking right.

You can play games on your phone user that's no excuse, any phone can have an emulator which opens up the entire world of video games.

If you can't play but can listen/watch you should be enjoying the millions of TV series and audiobooks out there

I've seen all the tv series I want to watch, I watch them as they air usually. And I read books occasionally. Why is it so hard to understand I get more enjoyment out of listening to/watching streams?

It's not hard to understand but it's retarded behavior for smooth brained plebs. Put on an education documentary or learn a new skill via audio books. Learn some history or philosophy.
