There are no RE spirits or anything in the game as is, so bringing them in would bring in a whole new franchise.
Also, the RE games have been getting switch ports lately so it seems likely.
AND Jill has been in fighting games before so they could draw inspiration from those for a moveset.

RE and Silent hill are the only acclaimed old horror game reps. Anything else is indie and pretty new. RE and Silent hill don't exactly have a strong design or front runner.
