I don't like Fate Grand order because it turns historic/iconic characters into waifu bait. Personally I find the entire series in poor taste.

I like granblue fantasy though, even though it also has characters gender-swapped. But at least the story is actually enjoyable.

Don't put a bunch of competitive shit into what's supposed to be a fun cooperative experience. Competitive stuff isn't bad either, but you aren't pitted against a diamond ranked player with 300 hours on your first ever match in a competitive game.

I feel like American Dad gets better the more seasons it goes through. Some episodes are god awful but there's a few gems here and there.

I liked it the first time through playing with a friend, but much like alien hominid I find that a lot of it's charm is in the humor and shock value. Which, obviously, isn't there years later.

Netflix stopped bothering to pay for licenses. They thought because they hit it big with a couple of their original shows that it would work that way for all of them. So, they lost a lot of rights to other services popping up (be they self-run, like the CBS one or NBC one/starz/shotime/hbo, or banded together like hulu). Hulu's basically the TV streaming service to go to now, because they also have optional packages to get most of the other channel's services, so instead of having 15 apps, you can get hulu and pay usually a slightly reduced cost per month to get hbo and shotime and shit too. Plus those channels also have the occasional freebie that isn't tied behind the premium package. shotime has penn and teller's bullshit. It's a dumb shit and heavily outdated but it's still nice for the occasional magic trick.

also hulu has king of the hill and futurama and i subscribe to it for them alone.

Couple reasons why

#1- Netflix is subscriber based, and eventually that's gonna top out, it already did, actually. So they lose money.

#2- Even with as much money as they have, they're still small fish compared to the major networks, and while they've been developing some solid content and featuring other exclusives, they're now facing legitimate challenges from other streaming services like Hulu and Disney+ (you know that's gonna be gangbusters).

There's not enough content. If you could run your characters through user made levels it would be infinitely more playable. As it is, there is no incentive to play through the same 20 levels with like 30 goddamn characters, even counting insane mode.

I had lots of friends to play with so much of fun came from trying to cheese bosses by spamming special moves and reacting to bizarre scenes like the giant black monster that chases you through the wooden bridge. I imagine that if you played it by yourself it would be a boring experience. It also helps I was young and not nearly as jaded as I am now.

This too was my problem. Those aforementioned friends were no longer around to play with.

I really do not understand why Castle Crashers is as well received as it is, it just seems really boring mechanically

Is this worth playing single player?
I played it years ago but never got very far.

I never bothered with multiplayer and still had much fun with the game.
Online mulitplayer is pretty much dead anyway, so you'll need someone you know to play with you if you want to coop.

The game got old after 2 levels. Same with that Scott Pilgrim game, and all the other beat-em-ups.

Even Ninja Turtles and XMen don't hold up other than nostalgia.
