I've been seeing commercials for their online game, they're very "ironic twitter humor"
I haven't been involved with MTG in any way since they stopped printing novels a decade ago, but I remember they took their immersion seriously.
how long has it been this bad?
Magic the gathering

This was the opening CG for their last expansion
wait until the lyrics kick in and ask yourself if it's irony:
>Shrek is considered ironic twitter humor
It's time to stop posting on Yea Forums
>ironic Twitter humor
How so? This is a trailer for Eldraine, a literal fairytale world. Cookie people dying gruesome deaths seems fitting.
Magic is trash. Quarterpounder, despite hating magic, is also trash. I hope both die.
>both of these ENTIRE posts
Holy fuck kill yourselves 9 times over you contrarian faggots. The fact that wizards finally stepped up their marketing and made some appealing trailers in comparison to the rotoscoped hot garbage every trailer had been before is AMAZING.
Too bad the online game is bad
sorry mr advertising intern, did we insult your life's work?
put this game on steam
Duels of the Planeswalkers has been on steam for years :^)
the commercials were fun, you sound like a cynic who calls people "reddit" in real life
yugioh is better though so I'll give you that
Literally better than any and all other online tcg except for the horrible direct-battle system.
A new player can jump in and drop the introductory cost of the game ($15) and have an S-Tier deck not to mention the inherent depth of gameplay by being magic the gathering.
>S-tier deck
Not with a measly 3k crystals they wont
Yugioh WAS better until every deck became "how fast can you Summon your entire hand and make a 3000 ATK Extra Deck idiot that prevents your opponent from playing the game?" (hint: in tournament games, it's usually either turn 1 or 2)
pretty much, I haven't played magic in a decade and there's no other way for me to play it
and I got sick of hearthstone
Ravnica rotate out of standard yet?
Not until next year
Magic is literally the best it's been in years
Lore has been a little wonky with Hasbro clearly trying to push the Jacetice League, but with War of the Spark being over it's come to a climax and ended, half of them aren't even in Eldraine
Checked
Unglued launched in 1998.
IT'S "SYR"
>I haven't been involved with MTG in any way since they stopped printing novels a decade ago
Is somebody going to tell him they haven't stopped?
To be fair, everything from late 2015-early 2019 was guttertrash MCU-inspired shit. Eldraine's book is pretty good
