Who was in the wrong here?
Who was in the wrong here?
Letho unironically did nothing wrong
How is political shit any of gerald's business?
It is when he's trying to clean his name.
But if you're talking about other parts in the series, yeah, it's flawed in this aspect regarding the books.
But if you count only the games, I think they made him non politically engaged enough, not perfect, but enough.
Neither of these two
Letho and Geralt clashed because of circumstance alone but both were doing the right thing from their own perspective
Letho is actually a pretty cool guy and I was glad to see him back in Witcher 3 after letting him live in 2
Letho for becoming a political pawn and thinking it would restore the witcher school.
I remember getting to this part at like 2am and I had an Analytical Chemistry exam the next morning but I kept talking to letho. Why didnt I study lmao
Letho because he’s a moron who worked for the main villain for no reason.
How do I get /fit/ like Letho?
slav genes and roid mutagens
Letho did everything wrong. Letho should have known that the Emperor could not fulfill his promise, and had reneged on promises before historically. Letho also interfered in political affairs, something which is the one thing that kept remaining Witchers alive so far. Furthermore, Geralt as a character would never allow another witcher to calmly explain how they're ultimately superior to him in every way, shape, and form- going so far as to kidnap Triss and frame Geralt, and then let that Witcher walk away. Geralt is prideful of his Witcher identity, it's one of the few things that can move him to aggressive action that isn't money or someone threatening his friends. Killing Letho is not only the best choice for you, the player, but it's also the choice that Geralt would make as well for many of the same reasons the player would- logical and illogical reasons alike.
If you prefer to agree with Letho and part ways, you are essentially without any hint of irony, but in the actual definition of the term, a cuck.
The whole "WItchers don't get into politics" are a general rule, a Wolf's School rule or a Geralt's rule?
Lots of food, lots of weights, lots of roids
I didn't fight him because I didn't want to play the game anymore. To this day I don't get how people enjoy the series. 2 had shit gameplay, shit women and was extremely boring. Also the dragon isn't even fuckable. Fuck Poland.
that's a general rule/guideline/suggestion
Got it, thank you, user.
It's a general guideline in order to keep witchers from becoming tools or assassins or bodyguards, since it keeps them doing what they're supposed to be doing.
Obviously, it doesn't always pan out that way.
squats and drowners
Yup, free will and all. I was just curious from where it was.
Thanks mate!
But Letho worked under the emperor because Yennefer ended up in his grip and around that time she still hadn't had her memory restored. I mean he did have motives of his own, but he and the 2 other witchers followed the Wild Hunt with geralt and helped him get Yennefer back. You really can't say no to the emperor, as if he really had a choice.
But all you do as Gayralt is do shit for money? Mercenaries are no different than assassins.
Letho for framing Geralt. Bullshit if you tell me that he didn't know Geralt was there.
>You really can't say no to the emperor, as if he really had a choice.
He had no reason to actually assassinate the kings for him. That’s stupid.
+ he got 3 witchers killed.
Yeah, but he will take money for killing a monster or some bandits or something threatening and then move on. Contrast what Geralt does to all the sorceresses and sorcerers who sit at the side of kings and give them advice. That's what they're trying to avoid becoming.
Even then, it's a guideline. He barely follows it.
The emperor had Yennefer, there's a good reason. Letho did Geralt a favor there.
He had Yennefer because Letho sold her to him.
that's literally the point of his character, he always goes about saying that witcher don't care about politics but ends up tucking his nose inside it anyways
That's not true, at all.
Letho protected Yennefer while the Wild Hunt pursued him, and he protects Triss if necessary.
That's enough reason for Geralt to let him go.
And honestly, book Geralt is quite a pacifist that won't kill someone if this person isn't a direct menace to him or those he wants to protect. Him killing someone just because they got involved on politics is ridiculous.
And someone mentioned witcher pride, but that's bullshit and non existing.
Yes, it is. Letho’s “confused and amnesiac sorceress” line was bullshit.
