You can say that about most of the decks in the DM anime. They rely on luck of the draw instead of having a consistent deck. That's why GX duels are better because the decks make sense (Jaden is all about fusions, Alexis is all about rituals, Zane is all about graveyard effects and special summons, etc) and they don't bullshit the game rules like DM when it's appropriate for plot armor.
