JSRF is superior. No idea why people believe otherwise. You lose difficulty (graffiti, cops, etc.) and replayability, being unable to replay the story as the characters you unlocked in the post-game (the worst part IMO), but everything else was just so much better

Hover was actually a lot of fun, but it didn’t really feel like JSR. It was a “skating” game with a similar aesthetic/soundtrack, but the actual core gameplay was very different. Though still fun.

Because they never thought of saving them because they never thought of the idea releasing those games on future consoles or any kind of media. Which was a pretty common thing for games in that era and way before, which is why rereleases dont feel right because they either rebuild in some bullshit way or work around for the original source to work on new hardware since games had their own engine that was supposed to work on some specific hardware
