On the other hand, you've gotten a lot better as a painter over the years. You look at the old painting and think it might be better to start over entirely. You put down a blank canvas and, using the same statue as the subject, paint an entirely new painting. It resembles the old painting, in that they have the same subject, but all the techniques you've learned and knowledge you've gained make the painting more detailed and better composed. That's a remake.

Of course, there's always a chance the old painting had a certain charm to it that you failed to recapture, but that's the risk.

The thing is, Bloodborne's credits have a bunch of outsourcing, Sony employees, and localisation teams. Comparing it straight up with Odyssey as an example of trying to establish that From itself is AAA isn't really a valid comparison, because the size of Bloodborne's credits don't really translate to the size of From Software itself. Odyssey's credits are pretty slim because it's just Nintendo, NOA, and NOE. I don't see a section in Mario Odyssey's credits for Latin-American Spanish Localisation, which is nearly 40 names on its own in Bloodborne's credits.

Only when the company making the system makes the games, which only Microsoft and Sony do, and which Sega and SNK used to do. Sony is, quite literally, the single laziest console creator in the history of gaming.

I hated when a bunch of animated movies went for similar box art styles (those "cereal box" looking reissues you can find at Walmart), and I hate it here. Why would I want to feel like I'm buying the same game repeatedly?

Good question. It would be significantly improved if they chose a red background and made the Saw Cleaver black.

Dark blue is far more emblematic of the game's melancholy and somber nature and is far more in line with the overall visual aesthetic. Saying it should be red because "duh bwood is wed" is an absolute brainlet suggestion.
