He's my dream pick now that they've confirmed more characters. Either Chief or Sora would make me happy. After Banjo there everything else is icing on the cake to be honest. I'll level with you: I don't really care for Halo at this point, and I feel ambivalent to Chief being in Smash - but I will not lie that his reveal would be the most fucking hype of any potential character they could include.

Nintendo did actually did things to BFD like the Adults only booth at the E3 where it was shown along with that infamous tournament where the Naughty Dog CEO won, and even if that was the case, It was NoE and NoA the ones that didn't publish the game, NoJ was ok with it but the game didn't got published because the N64 was pretty much dead in Japan at that point, an in current times I doubt they have a problem with BFD.
