>Play as your Exile character from KOTOR 2, can choose to be light or dark (which will affect the Jedi from KOTOR 2's alignment)
>Cast is a mix of KOTOR 1 and 2 characters (Atton, Mira, Visas, Canderous/Mandalore, Jolee Bindo, Mission, Bastila, Juhani, T3, HK, and new characters that can be made Jedi/Sith)
>Kreia is dead, your new mentor is Revan. Can choose light/dark side (which affects the design of his/her armor) and gender
>Story revolves around joining Revan in taking down the Ancient Sith Empire, aided by a strike Republic fleet lead by Carth Onasi
>Base planet is Coruscant (similar to Dantooine in KOTOR 1). Can explore the Jedi Temple and the surrounding areas
>Most other planets include those in the Sith Empire, including Dromund Kaas, Korriban, Arkania, and Yavin IV
>Story takes you across all planets and eventually leads to a showdown with the Sith leaders, a council of Ancient Sith who have used the Force to ascend to near Godhood
>If Revan is light side, this Sith Council offers you to join them through your wound in the force, explaining if you used the dark side to absorb Revan's power you could become as powerful as them
>If Revan is dark side, he receives this offer instead
>Either way, if you kill Revan, you get the dark side. If Revan is dark side, you can beat him and redeem him.
>If Revan is light side and you are as well, you work together immediately to defeat and destroy the Sith Council, combining your Force drain abilities with Revan's incredible power

>Light side ending ends with the Sith Empire collapsing into itself due to the loss of their "Gods," and the Republic fleet has an easy time sweeping them up. You found a new Jedi Council with the Jedi from KOTORs 1, 2 and 3, with Handmaiden serving as Head Archivist. You have a choice between instituting the old Jedi ways, or creating a new, more lenient and progressive Jedi tradition that is more in lieu with Luke's Jedi Order in the EU. Revan goes off to marry and settle down with Bastila, and you become Jedi Grandmaster.
>Dark side ending has you killing Revan, and absorbing his power and ascending to Godhood. You now have the choice of serving with the other Sith in this pantheon, and using your Godlike battle meditation to command fleets with your mind that sweep away the Republic and easily conquer the galaxy. Or, you can turn your gaze to the other Sith Gods, absorbing their power and becoming what Darth Nihilus intended. You absorb them, then Dromund Kaas, then all the galaxy. The final cutscene shows the starts in the galaxy quickly going out until everything is black, with only Nihilus' mask that you recovered floating in the empty void.

You heard me
Kapershit is a hack
Read Revan or play SWTOR’s Knight to see his Kotor 3
Fuck that piece of shit. Just go with what they originally planned for KOTOR 3.

>"The entire second game is littered with clues as to 'why didn't Revan destroy the infrastructure here? What was he trying to make sure was still intact? What did he/she see that no one else saw?' I thought that was giving a nice nod to 'wait a minute, Revan realises there's an even larger force at work here, and he's focusing his efforts on that and keeping the big picture in mind'. That was one thing - the idea that there was a larger, global conspiracy."
>That third game would cast you as "the Exile" and allow you to track Revan's path. "Whether you encounter him or not..." he pauses, wary of spoilers in case the game ever happens in the future. "The idea was that even before the 'modern day' Sith came into being in The Old Republic ... there were even more distant Sith Lords that were considered the true Sith, and the idea that they were still lurking out there in the galaxy waiting for a chance to strike, kind of like the Shadows in Babylon 5, I thought would be a cool finale for that Old Republic trilogy.
>"Part of the fun with designing them," he adds, "was if you have these incredibly powerful Force users and they have their whole hidden domain out in the distant reaches of the galaxy, what would that Sith empire really look like at the hands of these things?
>"If they could shape entire planets or galaxies or nebulas, and they had all these slave races at their disposal, how cool would that be, to go into the heart of darkness and you're the lone Jedi and/or new version of the Sith confronting these guys? What would that be like? I thought that would be pretty epic."
the taint
How would playing as the Exile again work when he's basically a demigod at the end of 2? I know you could contrive any sort of dumb excuse as to why you'd start at level 1 again, but that'd be dumb. If KOTOR 3 ever happened it would've had a new protag following in his footsteps if anything.
who wrote the sith warrior story? that shit was based
>wanting karpyshyn to do the writing
>the true Sith
What, like the red losers from Tales of the Jedis? Something even older? How many damn times do we have to retcon the origins of the Sith?
Reminder that Kotor is a shameless copy-pasta of every plot point of the OT & The Phantom Menace (the latter 2 prequels came out too late to rip off):
>Opens with the Sith shooting down a Republic ship, with their target getting away in an escape pod
>Hero is told they have to find a Jedi
>Heroes meet scoundrel+wookie duo in cantina
>Hero has to win a swoop race to free someone from captivity
>Female lead is captured, but breaks free and kills her capturer
>Hero is told they're force-sensitive and this is why they're so good at swoop racing
>Heroes meet a guy in a Cantina who offers access to a ship off-planet, which is named after a bird, supposedly the fastest in the sector and described by the owner as not looking like much
>Hero taken to Jedi Council for training, although some Jedi reluctant to do so due to "person's age"
>Yoda clone
>Astromech droid and protocol droid that bicker with each othr
>Sith hire bounty hunter to kill heroes
>Hero built their own protocol droid
>Old Jedi living as a hermit joins the hero
>Awkward personality droid translates Sand People speech for heroes
>Underwater section with a giant fish wreaking havoc
>Ship caught in tractor beam. Crew plan "alternatives to fighting" before being taken in, but end up fighting anyway
>Heroes run around to disable the necessary systems so that the ship can escape
>Villain is disfigured Sith Lord with cybernetic parts
>Villain makes surprise appearance. Han Solo type tries to shoot him and fails
>"I am your Father" type reveal. Jedi friend knew
>Jedi friend stays behind to fight main bad guy so that others may escape
>Main threat is a weaponized space station capable of destroying planets
>Republic/Sith square off in front of space station that's being protected by a shield generator disruptor field on a nearby world
>Heroes disable disruptor field, defeating the Sith who were waiting for them
>Hero/villain fight in observation deck overlooking said Republic/Sith battle
>Ends with award ceremony

they just wanted it to rhyme
Just another reason why KOTOR II is superior to I
racing is integral part of true patrician lucasian star wars

ruined even more

straight down the shitter
Kaspersky is based, the fact that KOTOR2fags still seething almost a decade later is hilarious
true sith refers to the species, as opposed to the dark side religion that dark jedi followed.
SEETHING NORMALNIGGER LMFAO
>the red losers from Tales of the Jedi
Did you even read my post?
Bros KotOR is almost not even worth playing these days. Anyone know what files I should check if I'm crashing when entering the crystal caves? The only mod I can think of fucking with it is the restoration mod.
The guy got so butthurt at 2 that despite his own Darth Bane trilogy clearly showing he had a similar mindset, he still threw a bitch fit at it
>this level of projection
use a new game engine that has you doing more than sitting on your hands while your character one-shots every enemy with force lightning or master barrage
