Play GOTY.
Kingdom Come Free Weekend
>60 gig download
pass
it runs at 10fps on my toaster
i REALY wish i could play it
redpill a quick rundown on it
It's janky but fun.
>free weekend
but that's every day on thepiratebay
the most soulful game to release in the past ten years. i fucking adore it.
Excited to give this a try when I build my computer on sunday :)
its like a bethesda game except not casual.
I looked forward to it for a long time, super pretty, super boring, super clunky. The save system sucks, fighting multiple people sucks, some of the quests really suck, AI super sucks. Absurdly pretty environment.
Has there been any performance patches yet?
Pretty fun, very janky. You can cheese many fights by playing naked with a bow and arrow and just kite everything, but melee feels very satisfying when you get some nice hits in.
HEY EVERBODY, HENRY HAS COME TO SEE US! also kino hunting. Fuck poaching laws, only God owns the land.
>any performance patches yet?
sure, the 1.9 patch actually made it worse.
Are any of the DLC's worth it since they're on sale? Played a solid dozen hours of the game back when it first came out but dropped it due to bugs, kinda wanna give it another go
Yea, with my internet I wouldn't be able to play before the weekend is over at that size.
>freeweek for a 80 hour RPG
kek
minus the bitcoin
>singleplayer game
>free weekend
The fuck?
Most comfy RPG I played. Love the story and setting. Most dense and realistic forests in any video game ever.
The game isn't handholding in any way and if you are low level in combat, stealth, lockpicking etc. you will be frustrated very soon if you not actively trying to level up.
tl;dr: Skyrim sucks dicks, I can do better than that drooling retard Todd
6 years later, KC:D came out
ya see kids, back in the day we used to have something called a "demo", short for demonstration. You could play a game for a little bit, then decide whether or not you want to buy it! Crazy!
This isn't a demo, and free weekends are for multiplayer games.
For an RPG length game like this and Disgaea I can see it being worthwhile since only the most hairy of neckbeards are going to be able to finish it but I have seen games like Saints Row 4, Halo Wars and Sniper Elite V2 get free weekends too which didnt make sense
too bad they didnt do better
Plays a lot like a Bethesda game, open world and you learn skills by using them. That said, many skills require initial and secondary specialized training to get better at. You're not just immediately literate, you need to be taught to read. You can swing a sword, but you need to find a Swordmaster to teach you how to parry, block, riposte, and all the higher forms.
The hardest part of the game is playing an honest Henry. You're wandering around in your tattered leather beggar clothes and you stumble across a Knight in fullplate just begging for you to choke him out and steal all his equipment to EZ mode the rest of the game.
Everyone, thread is over. Clearly, singleplayer games can't have free weekends.
I wanted to get this game, I had already purchased it on steam, so I went to have a look at a video of the game while it downloaded, and then I saw the system of lockpicking, so I refunded, set the computer on fire and sacrificed some children to Moloch to curse the souls of the devs.
>downloading a game during free weekend
>not just pirating the game any time
I hate game with swords.
there are mods for that
>not downloading it during the free weekend and then installing the crack when it runs out
>free weekend
>game isn't free
What did they mean by this?
>not disabling Internet connection when playing a pirated game
