Also, Super Mario 64 doesn't deserve it because as well as other reasons like level design. 64 is only remembered so fondly because it's the first true 3D platformer. Most 3D platformers to come out after it, even in the same generation, were beter. Like Ape Escape and Spyro. And before you say "REEEEE Snoyboi", I hate modern Sony. Not least of all because they abandoned one of those IPs and sold the other to Activision

Except he isn't, user. Only a bunch of the characters in OOT give a fuck about Link. Exactly the same as in MM.
Not to mention MM actually has a shitton of polished characters you can see evolving with the approaching apocalypse. While OOT just has just empty shells serving as plot devices, with only a bunch remembering you after the timeskip.
