That bridge is smaller than how I remember it.
It’s time to discuss the best RPG ever made
but that's oblivion.
>Now, pic related, if not #1, is at least in the top 3 RPGs ever made.
It is not even among the top 5 by bioware.
It really is rather mediocre.
the whole oblivion main quest line is pretty dull and repetitive
the sort of politics of unifying the region and closing the gates is interesting and wish more had been done on that, like the PC being raised as the Count of Kvatch so as to be a noble and able to deal with the other nobility, and then after finishing the quest the town would be gradually rebuilt with stuff to do as the Count
also the Mankar Camoran and the Mythic Dawn stuff was interesting but not really well done either
exploration and the main quest in Morrowind is better
I personally prefer combat in Oblivion, but I know plenty of people do like Morrowind's
Oblivion has better guild quests and for some reason I've spent more time just wandering around towns and on roads in Oblivion
the best thing in exploration that Oblivion had was Hackdirt, which I just wandered into and stayed the night at the inn which I like to do while wandering the map and began the quest
I sank over 500 hours into Oblivion despite Skyrim having better art direction and gameplay mechanics. I wanted to like Skyrim, but it's a game I just sink some hours in, get bored and play something else, don't touch it for a year, then go back and start a new character.
>better art direction and gameplay mechanics
doesn't matter much when its just worse than oblivion
It has the best guilds but everything else is meh
