Anyone still playing Hollow Knight? How many pantheons were you able to beat?
Anyone still playing Hollow Knight? How many pantheons were you able to beat?
For what purpose was this image made
Only the last binding left for the last pantheon
all of them
I got all bosses radiant in the hall of gods and all the pantheons cleared, but I've been putting off doing the bindings for the last two.
How hard were the first 3?
Not that difficult, but I had already cleared hall of the gods by that point so I was incredibly used to the bosses. The only parts that give me trouble in the last two are Pure Vessel, Absolute Radiance and unironically the Collector, he is a bitch to do with bindings as he throws primal aspids around.
Literally only done the first one. Although I've got 2 bindings on it so maybe I'll be able to finish the second with some practice. Struggling to get behind putting like 20+ hours into nothing but gitting gud
I beat the first two iirc
Shit I still can't deal with
>Nightmare Grimm
>Radiance (lazer beeems)
>Trial of The Fool (specifically that aerial section)
>Path of Pain (just... why)
>NKG
Took me a solid 5 hours man but it was so satisfying when it finally just clicked & I went from struggling to even get past half health to sweeping through the entire thing. Just keep at it & learn to muscle memory his attacks. Use Shape of Unn if you're not already
>Radiance
After NKG it's not that bad. Abyss Shriek wrecks when you get the opportunity to spam it
>Trial of the Fool
Really struggled with the aerial section until I tried out Dreamshield. Hard to explain exactly how but that tiny bit of occasional protection/damage made such a difference
>Path of Pain
Lol. Spent an entire evening on it, finally got to the last part & promptly died in about 10 seconds. That was the last time I touched the game
Still haven't beaten pantheon of hollownest
tips on how to deal with markoth??
Thanks for the tips bro, I completed the game a few times with the not-so-great ending where you don't fight Radiance, but I'd like to 118(?)% before Silksong comes out
I was playing with KB+M though, maybe I should try controller
I beat 4 pantheons.
It's the only game I've played this much for completionism, but it's good fun because the mechanics feel good.
Not that guy but remember that for NKG you can dash in the middle of his 3 bats attack and hit him, this was the thing that helped me the most, the rest is just keep trying and learning his attacks, after you beat him you'll beat radiance without many problems too.
The last coliseum challenge i didn't have many problems with it except the boss, you can kill the beast without touching the master and you'll win, that made the fight x2 easier
>fight all the available bosses on radiant difficulty over and over again until I finally beat them all
>die once in the pantheon of hallownest to nightmare grimm and can't be bothered trying again
Fuck.
If you've played the entire game up until now with KB+M I'd probably not recommend switching at this point.
The wiki also has some videos that can be helpful - particularly for finding hit/healing windows against NKG
3 pantheons and at the end of the 4th. Pure vessel is quite hard tbqh.
first 3 are easy as fuck.
>nkg
just remember all his attacks and try not to get hit.
>radiance
Its just a platforming challenge tbqh I beat it 3rd try
>totf aerial section
I was stuck there too till I realized I can use spells. Literally just use howling wraiths two times with all enemies above you and that's all you need to do.
>path of pain
not canon dont bother
howling wraiths
>path of pain
>not canon
Elaborate?
its the same as pantheon of hallownest. There for people who want to keep playing forever like roguelikes. Not required for 113% completion.
Path of Pain IS canon. It's the security measure that guards a forbidden memory - the truth that the Pale King doomed Hallownest by showing affection to the young Hollow Knight.
But PoH is required for the platinum trophy ;_;
celeste new dlc coming september 9 bois
Still on my initial playthrough at the moment, really enjoying it and can't believe I'm still discovering new shit 40 hours into the game. Any tips for beating the Watcher Knights btw? I got my ass handed to me several times and have been avoiding that fight since.
I cleared all the bindings on the first two pantheons and cleared shell on the third. Now I'm working on charmless.
you can drop a chandelier before the fight even starts (secret room just before the boss room) so two of them die permanently. if you're not a casual though, just stay in the middle. the walls are your enemy in that fight more than anything. those fags either roll or bounce. when they bounce, try to stay under the arc of the biggest jump, possibly without moving. the three sword strikes are easy to dodge.
you can do it lad
2 but that's because the 3rd needed me to go after a boss I managed to miss somehow and then instead of doing that I just didn't open the game for a whole week. I guess I'll do that today.
I got it on Switch during the E3 sale but I haven't played it much. My first experience went like this:
>get to the end of the tutorial and go down the well
>go left
>find a guy sitting on a pile of stuff and crying, can't talk to him or anything
>go right
>run into a fat pie eating bastard who tears me a structurally superfluous new behind
faceroll build
>joni's blessing
>lifeblood core
For max hp
>quickslash
>stalwart shell
For facerolling
Each knight dies in like 6 hits so just hit them till they drop and never heal.
>not canon dont bother
But it's fun..
I bet it was fucking Elder Hu
No not that one. It was one on deepnest.
