I'm enjoying 5 more than 4 so far, I really like the larger scale battles

Just looked up the story to Gears 5. Never have I been so confused by the motivations of the characters before. Kait's mom comes back evil for some reason, then Jinn wants to connect Kait to the hivemind to control the swarm? what the fuck is this garbage? I believe they retconned the origins of the locust too. The next game's story will be even worse.

How is it different from Gears 4, nigger? Literally the same shit.

It is just a tired franchise that needs to end I'm blaming Hollywood that pretty much gives game Publishers a reason to milk games for all they're worth and so people don't want to play them anymore
