Do you work at a shop or are you a online retailer? Or both?

Are those games valuable? I have a few of them

lsat i remember it goes for 12-15 on ebay but irl i'd give it up for 10.
neither, i work part time making a shitty 20 an hour for 30 hours a week. back in teh day i'd only do reselling, i pulled in 20k on year just doing reselling of vidya shit

Attached: buhbuy.jpg (4032x3024, 1.58M)

I'm good. Also, what is the n64 controller for?

What are your main sources of inventory?

those games are only good for wholesale or filler material. most of the time i'll let those items accumulate over time from multiple purchases. there might be 2 or 3 gems in each purchase that pays for itself and then after that anything else is profit. getting fluffer games is somewhat essential to inflating packages.
reselling probably for 25.
inventory is mostly nintendo shit since that has highest resale value because people are nostalgic.

pic related is fluffer games in use

I meant where do you get most of your stuff? Garage sales? Ebay?

Im trying to sell my old games i dont need anymore and have about 40. im not sure if it would be best to sell my xbox and ps2 games as two seperate lots, or individually. my main hangup is if i sold them one by one, whats the cheapest way to ship them in a case?

ebay is overpriced for the most part and with good reason. i get most my stuff from craigslist or other second hand apps. it really works to my advantage that i live in pretty much the main city in the US. can't imagine somebody making 20k in reselling if they lived anywhere else .

What game do most people think is rare that actually isn't?

sell them to me, i'll give you 100 flat for all of them. willing to pay 10 for shipping. if not then bundles always seem like a good idea but at then end of the day it really is best to sell individually. people are more likely to buy one item then a bunch of different items. first class usps is usually cheapest package it in the lightest possible way and you'll pay under 5 for shipping every time.

>scum
user, you’re clearly savvy an have the ability to make money doing something like refurbish and resale. Keep up the good work.

also keep the questions coming you guys actually have good stuff you're asking.

Do you feel any guilt about reselling?

not really, i see poeple that are worse than me, businesses etc. My family will joke about me selling shit on craigslist and that's something i just have to swallow. thats probably the lowest i've ever felt about selling shit.

overeall there is a big stigma about craigslist even regular people i talk to are scared of craigs. its actually funny at this point because i've had well over 100 craigslist interactions and there's never once been a negative experience.

jannies is htis stil lvidya related?

first class as in shipping bubble envelopes? im in between jobs so need the cash and the space to think with less clutter. thanks for the advice. good luck with your business.

first class is just the base cheapest option. i've been drinking a lot tonight so i forget if its first class or priority. one of the two. just ask for the cheapest option. usps is pretty cheap.

its not a business unless its on my resume. in general its just a hobby. guess its time for this thread to die since its 4am. sucks i have to be up in 4 hours for wokr

do you report any of this stuff on your taxes? everyone who sells stuff on ebay wether its jist a handfull of things or hundreds of things tends to have a different response.

i know that ebay has its own policies about that but im not sure how well defined they are. dont answer it if tou dont want. just trying to learn. you seem to make enough that it could be classified as a business even if you dont consider it one, but im not sure. i drank a bit also so this is pretty jumbled up. thanks for the interesting thread user.

do you scam people?

You got any PS2 games user

i don't report it on my taxes since most of it comes in cash. other businesses i operate that have traceable online currency i do declare. i say 20k in a year but mind you not all of that is on ebay a lot of it is in person transactions. i'm drinking don't waorry user. glad thread is interesting
never. have i been scammed? yes. some guy sold me a copy of melee which i was already suspicious about since he sold it for 20 disc only. got it and it didn't work, sold it on ebay "as is" whichh essentially means broke and broke even. aside from that i crack everything open clean it out and resell it. i just enjoy cleaning vidya shit.
for sale rn no, have i sold ps2 shit before yes

wasn't expecting th ethread to still be alive

rarest thing you own & rarest thing you've sold

Have you ever played 007 Agent Under Fire?

die you price-hiking console-flipping anti-gamer scum!
i got two switches at launch and sold one in parts, which in turn fully paid for both

Do you actually make enough to live or just enough to buy games while leeching off of your family/the government?

Kill yourself your family your dog cat and hotdog die now die forever your trash fuck off forever die in a cunt.

Why do you say scum? As long as it works and its not a repro it should be all good right?

>20K in reselling off-the-shelf games that are available at every mom-pop shop know to man
Honestly stopped reading after you deliberately posted that twice.
Good Larp, but entirely unbelievable since your entire "Collection" probably isn't even worth 2K. Lol

Kill yourself

rarest "thing" not sure, maybe a barco studio monitor, phantasy star online plus for gamecube, wavebird sealed in package, or there's other stuff. you'd be surprised what you can get on craigs and other shit.
think so, i try to play everything i get at least for 5 minutes
i don't price hike most everything i sell i've researched before hand and sell at market rate, despite the fact that i got lucky enough to buy it for half the price.
don't make money off the govt, like i said i do work and 20k is enough to live in general. i will say i am in a lucky position to be in a mecca of a city.
suk my fat cock
most people look down upon the act.
lel, its not a personal collection. when i made 20k i was going out every single day to buy shit, and sending out 2-5 packages every day. i wasn't just sitting on my ass buying and selling stuff on ebay. but i could care less what some waster has to say on the internet

>do you pay taxes on your income?

But you're scamming your country.

Punished Gamecube

Where is a good place to find games that aren't fluff or sportshit?

how much money you make from it?

If you're the same piece of shit who tried to talk me down from 150$ for a complete GameCube Sonic set, melee, sunshine, like ten other games and two controllers you can go neck yourself, shit was literally already priced to sell because I was moving.
