Wasn't PW originally 6 episodes, though? That would mean that he'd probably try to connect the X series alongside the main line at some point in the future. I assume as a prequel since it matches up with the "Mankind in space" arc that P1/P2 of Gears originally was, but I don't even know anymore.

I'm glad they went with a different (originally intended) look, because I can play 2 versions of this GOAT now.

Good god it looked that bad? I played it back in 2015 and I don't remember things being so fuzzy.
How did they make the characters so expressive with such little graphical power? Their eyes are literally just textures, for goodness sake.

Looked fine if you played it on an older and maybe smaller TV I found but when you play it on a newer TV or higher res, it really starts to show its issues.

I heard in another thread someone propose the idea that Alvis's key necklace might be replaced with or have the core crystal under it.

That would successfully link him with Pneuma and Logos as they both bear Zohar-shaped crystals, so it makes the most sense

At first I was going to say, why would he have a Core Crystal, since he wasn't turned into a Blade, but then I remembered that he'd still have a core present. It'll probably flash at some point in the story, so that'll be nice. I really hope it ends up being Blue, which makes sense because of the Monado's blue flare when activated.

Good news is that the game heavily picks up from that point on.

I don't even know if that's necessarily a "new" Monado. For all we know, inserting ether gems into the Monado makes it change shape now. After all, slotting Aux Cores into your Blades in XC2 would change their designs. It wouldn't make sense, based on the geographical placement Shulk is at. The Monado II only appears after Alcamoth, and it can't be a Replica since that happens post Mechonis, which I doubt they would spoil.
