Why do people hate it?
Owen Mitchell
No. Not even in the so bad it's good way. This game is bland beyond repair.
Dominic Phillips
no
Colton Ward
because its dogshit
David Myers
It was pure anti-kino
Caleb Morales
DMC wasn't good until 3 honestly. 1 was boring and kinda lame
Jason Carter
Shit taste
Ayden Butler
Nah, it's still fun due to the fact that enemies are aggressive and hit hard, it's just very simple compared to 3 and onwards combat.
Chase Jones
Your opinions are factually wrong
Xavier Jackson
the cinematics are really bad and not in a cringey way but in a they clearly didn't give a fuck kind of way
the combat system is all fucked up, especially compared to 1, and by that I mean it doesn't make any sense
the storyline is absolute nonsense even considering DMCs quite ridiculous plotlines
there is nothing redeeming in playing it, it doesn't feel fun and doesn't have anything to do with the overall story in the series
Robert Sanchez
5SE > 5CE > 5 = 3SE >= 4SE > 1 > 3 > 4 > DmC:DE >>>> DmC >>>> wall >>> 2

>tfw DMC5 got a proper "boss sitting in a throne" fight
Mason Cook
I wonder if it would be possible to get a proper "sad dante" DMC game.
Zachary Cox
We did, it's called DMCV

>Whatever.
Andrew Green
It's pretty bad, the only redeemable thing is the OST
I still feel it's playable, it's definitely as broken as people tend to say, i liked that Dante has like 5 combos for Rebellion and they change with his DT
Joseph Rodriguez
Fuck no, but tts disaster of a release is the reason Itsuno made 3 as kino as possible.
Also had maybe a few good tracks I guess.

The DMC2 OST was excellent. The art design was very neat as well. Too bad about the game.
David Bailey
It was a notorious disaster that nearly killed the franchise before it could start. Itsuno was brought in to try and salvage the game in time for release. What saved the franchise was the fact that Itsuno didn't want to be known for the "guy who made DMC2" and was determined to make DMC3 amazing. So that was the one good thing that came from it.
Owen Clark
the devil trigger stuff was kinda nice
and some visuals like lucia DT and the final boss are really fucking good
Joshua James
Yeah, i'd actually like a DMC2 remake over something like a DMC1 remake, the game could be great if it's worked from the ground up
Also what the fuck is capcom thinking by charging 20 bucks for the switch version?
Blake Evans
It's a fall guy so they can say "DMC doesn't sell well on the Switch" as an excuse when they decide they don't want to port DMC3 or maybe DMC4 later.
Tyler Parker
Porting that game at all is a cruel joke, it's fucking trash and no one should buy it.

BINNY BLEASE

im playing 1 right now. its definitely a little simple and bare bones but still good
