I don’t get it.

It's because you need your thumb to use it.

Deadly Premonition is pretty funny

Yes. Yakuza series.

>Japanese "humor"
>it's either potty humor or something that would be funny, but they ruin it by explaining the punchline.
Seriously, the Yakuza chicken webm is a perfect example of the latter.

Quite pungent indeed.

You are a weird, autistic motherfucker, Utanon.

Underwater Ray Romano sucks. 95% of the scripts in all three games are about eating, making and describing food.

>not enjoying worldbuilding

You can have worldbuilding without spending the WHOLE fucking game, even the one with the fucking war, on describing and eating food. Nice excuse, faggot.

>post-satellite destruction of the capital
>time to set up camp
>oh and let's talk about food once again for about 30 minutes after literally the death of most of the population on the continent lmao

Nips can be funny when they try

I do not consider myself a person apt to laughter, but I am playing Yakuza 0 right now and it is constantly putting a big dumb smile on my face.

The comedy is really endearing, which is refreshing because most comedy these days feels sort of overly cynical.

This is my beef with American comedy, I find it too sarcastic and self-deprecating.

Without a doubt.

I started this game and been meaning to come back to it for a week. Is it worth it? The beginning wasn't as captivating as the first game's.

I found the SoL parts comfy. Wished there was more of it.

>Wished there was more of it.
Go read moege in a corner.

What first game are you talking about? The original game, mask of deception? They're all worth it, especially 3 gets pretty crazy towards the end.

I laugh at Japanese games all the time. It helps that I genuinely find manzai -type comedy to be beyond hilarious.

I can't remember the last time a Western game made me laugh though.
