The problem is that for the first year of this service it was pretty much paying for online you weren’t paying for when the system launched one year ago because the Switch was rushed out the door and didn’t (and to this day still doesn’t) have any features, but with the additional “bonus” of Nintendo drip-feeding NES games. SNES games are much more enticing than NES games and it took an entire year for them to give enough of a fuck to do anything about it because now people will need an incentive to keep their subscription to the service active.
