You‘re no fun.

I like any Mitsubishi's, but I actually prefer Eclipses to Lancers

I was playing CTR never day until mtx were added in
Haven't touched it since the day before their implementation
Now to wait for it on PC I guess

For me, it's the sileighty

*everyday
What the fuck auto correct

For me it's LEVIN 85

My favorite car is an anime girl with big titties

It's a lost cause, OP.
You can start a thread with a screenshot or image of a car and get no replies, or you can start a thread with Initial D and get eurobeat posting. There is no middle way.

I kinda wish Itsuki had found his own path as a racer and picked up a car that suited him better, rather than attempting to ride Takumi's coatails
Then again, everyone besides Takumi and the Takahashi's got shafted

>Cool Vibrations
>hmm hahahaha

id ride that car if you know what i mean

I will now post porn to prop up this thread.

I'm working on a racing game

what do you like about racing?

Arcade or sim? Nice controls either way.

He has giant comical relief lips man
He was genetically predisposed to never have any character development

Attached: 1564413978800.jpg (1280x960, 265K)

god i want to fill the exhaust pipe

Personally, I love working my way up from nothing, having to race with garbage 20 year old cars in the beginning, having to consistently win races for the money to mod it, slowly saving up for a new car

arcade due to the constraints of being a single person, I just like going fast and getting good lap times

Being able to spectacularly destroy your car when you fuck up.

most car vidya features real life cars or obvious expies of real cars.
Are there racing games that have fictional cars that are more than just Speed 5/5 bars, turning 3/5 bars, acceleration 4/5 bars?

Please for the love of god, do not make muh meme driftu the fastest way around a circuit. Actual racecraft should be required.

Attached: 1564415844156.jpg (830x553, 49K)

"Actual racecraft" is boring as fuck to everyone but the biggest of autists and is the reason the racing genre is generally dead outside of said autists.

but gas fumes comes from there

My favorite racing game of this generation is Onrush.
It's made by the Motorstorm guys and more of a combat game (it has some MOBA elements), and it's an an absolute riot online
Too bad it flopped rrally bad though

Playing forza horizon 4 made me see how good NFS games could've been even more
God damn it, game does everything great from driving to car selections, events and shit great
Why couldnt we get a NFS game with similar driving, less but more specialized car options with actual customizations and online options that dont feel like you are being held at gunpoint to use?
Why do we get games that try to fit in with every style instead of sticking with one like the older nfs games and not try to be ''hip'' all the time?
Why wont anyone sit and watch the old FMV's for 5 minutes before arguing about why nobody fucking liked those shitty story modos of the newer games?
Why can't they understand basic concepts like ''progression'',''art style'', ''pacing'' and fucking ''sense-of-speed''?
Who the fuck cares or likes shitty urban american areas other than shitty burgers from there that probably dont even pay for the games?
Why is it so hard to think that nobody likes hearing a terrible voice which is also attached to an ugly girl or a token nigger sidekick when the games never needed sidekicks other than ''that one dude that got you into this'' and the mechanic at best?
Why do they think characters spouting random shitty trivia about cars somehow make them interesting or look smart?
Why do all radio options suck and have no sense of style?

> he wants LESS car options
you're the problem with the genre. no one wants to drive the same 20 models of cars that have been making it into games for the past 30 years, again.

99% of people don't give a shit about racing the newest generic supercar unless they're 5 years old.

Pic related. Post cars that should be making it into racing games as low-mid tier options for racing. Not everything has to be the fastest car in the world.

Forza horizon 4 has 450 cars

what?

I wish more ordinary road cars were in racing games.
It would be neat to race something I've actually driven before.

>Forza horizon 4 has 450 cars
You're the illiterate one. That's the one good thing about that game. He said he wanted an NFS game with LESS car options.

Why do they all look the fucking same now fuuuuuuuuuuuck

Somehow this genre is actually pretty good, despite 86 iq individuals like you, and I'm thankful for that.

Dang I Love that Castrol paintjob on every Toyota Racing car

>favourite cars to use in racing games
1969 Dodge Charger Daytona
1997 Honda Civic R-type
Ferrari Dino 206 GT

To be honest they look even worse when they try to be really different as well, it's this forced ''it's new so it has to be this exact style or it wont sell'' ideology going around with the car designs

based. 90s jap sedans are ultra kino

For me its the fact that there are only two affordable japanese rwd sports cars on the market, as opposed to the fact that the 90s and 2000s there were over 20 cars to choose from

Why did the sports car market get so cringe ?

When are we ever going to get a new Midnight Club?

Attached: Katy Townsend.jpg (1080x1079, 192K)

Honestly, Initial D shafting every character except the blandest of the bunch was the biggest blueball. They could have given the focus to like four other dudes after Dagumi's story finished in Third Stage. I'd follow Nakazato, Iketani or Itsuki for another Stage.

This is a seriously underrated game.

youtube.com/watch?v=fHnF5Eay0QE

A crying shame it wasn't released on PC. It would still be popular today if it was.

Attached: 52414.jpg (367x519, 49K)

Is it true that the physics of NS 2003 were the most realistic ever? Up to that point anyway?

Manual transmission and all the tricks and strats that come with it.

I already tried, the compressor isn't holding the charge and just spitting shit back out and It's beyond my knowledge after that point.

yeah. It's also got an incredibly active modding community meaning you can play pretty much every era of NASCAR along with mods for F1, Indycar, GT etc, on any track you can imagine

Know what sucks about modern racing games? The track design is for supercar zoomers who have never seen a narrow road or corners in their lives.

because Yea Forums doesnt play racing games and dont have any of their own screenshots to post unless its forzashit

Well, you'd suck at them anyway I guess. Anyone driving an R32 would smoke your ass.

I‘d use less buzzwords but I agree, too much supercar racing to little middle class sportscar Racing

This is the most boomer thing I've ever said but...my Dad used to league race online on NS 2003, and he raced against a young Denny Hamlin. I know many drivers treated it like a full sim.

I'd pay to see the average Joe who plays modern racing games try Irohazaka or Myogi

Any way to get liveries in a pirated FH4?

Embrace the shitbox lifestyle. Nobody likes new cars anyway, they're expensive to buy, expensive to repair, boring to look at and boring to drive.

I used to be like you user, the key is to throw yourself into the deep end and drive defensively, give it a month of daily driving and you'll feel more and more comfortable being behind the wheel.

Where are my RC chads at?

...

doot doo-doot doot doot doot doo-doot DOO DOOO~

The sense of progression , when the game almost forces you to get better. I've never played a game where they really push that though. Like making you have to drive manual to get faster and forcing you to learn about the mechanical details to tweak your car to perfection, like a master class in becoming a race car driver. All racing games just skim the surface and never take off the training wheels really

Is there a GTA V mod that gives it better driving physics?

I just downloaded Asetto Corsa the other day
What mods do I need to make it bootleg Initial D/Wangan Midnight sims?

Just play 3

in any racing game you have to memorize the track and racing line, it gets more important the more realistic the game is

i've completed the Hard OutRun2SP course, in the F40, flappy-paddle manual transmission. and, well, i think that's as good as it gets

I should really dig out my burnout trilogy this weekend.

There have been attempts
None of them are good because the underlying physics are shit and cannot be changed by mods

i bought my car and didn't know how to drive standard. my dad gave me the rundown then i proceeded to stall at least 40 times in 3 months. worst you get honked at. other times people just laugh as they should. you learn to git gud at starting your car fast

i'm saying i think it's inherently cooler to drive a big gleaming ~2t chunk of metal at slightly unsafe speeds, than it is to pilot a floaty spaceship around a go-kart track

>I have both licenses but i am too scared to take the road in this fucking city.
Which city is that?

Yeah, waiting for hosts like it's Risk of Rain kinda sucks, but at least we don't have to worry about dedicated servers getting killed if we never had them to begin with. At least Yea Forums lobbies are fun when they show up. Running random drag strips among other retards was some of the funnest shit I've done in vidya.
>not using a videogame to simulate speeds unattainable by man
If you want to be reductive, all racing games are just:
>memorize the track and specific route because speeeeeeeeeed

Attached: fuck you rigg.webm (746x420, 2M)

in my case it is because my parents used to make me scared shitless of driving. it is funny because now they keep pestering to learn how to drive properly so i can do errands for them. i also wanted to drive a bike to get shit done quicker and because bikes are way less expensive than cars to maintain but they also keep pressuring to not get one.

São Paulo.
One of my friends got a bike and almost died a week later for falling over because of a truck

>I still need to buy a car and get over my fear of driving but every fucking car thats is brand new is expensive as fuck and every used car that i can afford is almost totally trashed.

Your first car is supposed to be an absolute fucking useless shitbox, you drive it to learn (and build some some insurance bonus depending on where you live). My first car was 20 year old Peugot 306, which had lived a looong and hard life. It was a manual, but still only had a gigantic clock on the dash instead of a rev counter, so I had to change gears according to how intense the sound of suffering was. And it had to suffer a lot, for it couldn't really handle uphills on any higher than 3rd gear. It also had all these other quirks like how the hatch wouldn't open from the outside so I had to crawl into the backseats and open it with a string, the clutch had to be tightened via the engine bay regularly, and the rear wiper was on permanently towards the end of its life (this started during winter so it just suddenly smacked my hand while I was scraping ice back there). Enjoy the shitbox life while you can, I do miss not having to give and fuck and being able to eat kebabs inside and nosedive it into a ditch full of snow while playing with the handbrake

(krunch) OH DEAR!

holy fuck how do you turn so smoothly please teach me sensei every time i try to turn i ram walls of fly off the stage please send help

Why did people stop rallying people on Yea Forums on the weekends?

man those Gamenights were fun

Meant

you have to make the drifting feel nice

>took 3rd place
>6.6 seconds to 2nd place
or pass anyone, or begin to approach someone to pas them

i think it's cooler to pilot a spaceship at very unsafe speeds (with weapons enabled) than to drive a car like it's real life or something

why indycar doesn't? what the fuck are you americans even doing

Ooo this threads back
Posting my Inital D battles tier list

Attached: 1567647314380.png (1240x722, 630K)

Not a clue. I'll admit I haven't joined in on any recent threads because I'm a filthy college cuck, but I'd assume it was a mix of summer ending, general poster slowdown, and maybe a little discouragement from the fags screaming about semi-frequent threads and calling for them to be moved to /vg/. I sorta doubt the back-to-/vg/ autists did much to discourage them, but it got annoying seeing that one fag sperg out in every other thread. All things aside, apparently any topic that isn't Smash or off-topic tends to experience that inevitable slowdown as they either burn out on the game or decide to play something else for a little to mix things up.
They'll come around again eventually. Wouldn't hurt to make a thread sometime actually. I think it's been a while since a BallisticNG thread was around.

I'm more annoyed by the lap and position markers being on the car itself.

Very small and deliberate amounts of air breaks only. Only use them when your turn really is too fast and steep otherwise. Sometimes only tap them once at the outermost point of your turn.
Also apply a varying amount of air break in the opposite direction at the end to stop yourself from oversteering after the turn.
Also if you play with both of the air brakes you can kinda strafe horrizontal into the turn just a little bit, which is really hard to describe. I'm not sure how that even works I just do it sometimes.
Overall, just keep practicing, eventually this stuff become natural.

Attached: ballisticNG_cockpit5.webm (889x500, 2.84M)

i think it's a good idea, especially for a 'cinematic racer' that's about doing stylish things and not 'whoops missed it'

>strafe horrizontal into the turn just a little bit
like drifting or like f-zero side dash thing?

I've been completely out of the loop with games in the past few years: what even is it?

Hello fellow racers
I have a VR headset that I want to put to use. Any PC games you recommend? Simulator, Arcade, Scenic driving, whatever. I just want to set behind a digital wheel. Apeaking of which, any wheel recommendations?

Attached: 239c6ytcm2i11.png (400x300, 199K)

split/second, i believe

Ah, so it is. I thought it was that but couldn't remember the name. Thanks.

i keep getting it mixed up with the other generic-name games that seemed to be released all at once on the 360/ps3 at the time. blur, grid, pure, etc

starting to move on an uphill is probably the most nerve wracking part of a standard

It's just drifting I guess. Feels like losing traction for a few meters, going diagonal while the nose is already pointing somewhere else.
It has something to do with alternating air brakes on entering a turn, but as I said I just sorta do it. I don't know how it works or if it's really a thing.

But I wouldn't focus on that. It's more important that you learn to use mostly steering and only use air brakes very deliberately.
The rest is practice.

Attached: ballisticNG_the_walls_are_lava2.webm (640x360, 2.8M)

I just looked it up. Seemed a shame it was a failure.

Attached: raaacin.jpg (1920x1080, 391K)

Respectable list but Shingo deserves the S.

Looking at my own footage and thinking about it again, I guess it's really just turning with air brakes during the split second where momentum still carries you and quickly realligning yourself with the opposite air break before the grip comes back resulting in a short feeling of floating into a turn.
Still important to align yourself for multiple turns.

On wheels I can't help you but Forza and AC should be VR supported.

Initial D peaked at Ryosuke vs. Kyoichi.

I am still in the search for a decently used car that works.

IWANNADANCE
GO GO GO GO

Yea Forums likes thrustmaster and logitech wheels a lot.
I've got a logitech G29 wheel with the h shifter. It's fucking noice.

Single player content.
Seriously if I can play the single player / multiplayer but a game that also has saveable ghost lap times I will play it for probably 3x the amount I would without ghosts / record times

Shingo's race against Iketani is still one of the coolest moments.

ANGRY DRIFTING is still great, but as a race, the whole point is that Shingo doesn't stand a chance which brings it down enough to keep it out the racing kino tier that is Ryosuke vs Rin

In that respect, I see where you're coming from. Another thing, your list is a bit flawed in that it doesn't include rematches or non-Dagumi battles. Keisuke vs. Nakazato and the Kyoichi rematch are deserving of ranks for example.

Keisuke vs Nakazato is pretty much only the takeover at the end so even though it was cool, it wouldn't be super high
Both Kyoichi races are B-Tier in their own way, the first showing Takumi's first "loss" but cops out with the engine blow not being considered a loss by anyone, and the Slopes race being cool but stifled a bit by Kyoichi admiting he could have used the jumping line

To clarify, I would have ranked them in a proper tierlist, but the template I found online only had the character faces so I had to cut a few corners

OH SHIT, Yea Forums, YOU JUST WON THE LOTTERY! WHAT CAR DO YOU BUY?!

Attached: Screen-Shot-2017-01-16-at-3.01.10-PM.png (1950x1300, 3.78M)

Skyline GTR

It's cool, I get you. On the topic of Kyoichi, I feel like his rematch should have been the final boss. Takumi overcoming the one guy he couldn't beat would be a perfect place to end it. He was too cool to be dropped as early as he was.

>there will never ever be a racing game based on the movie redline
It's not fucking fair. I just want a game where i can reach ridiculous speeds and almost kill myself while going over my cars limit. Motorstorm's boosting system is the only one i remember that comes close to the latter.

Do you play digital or analog? I played wipe for years and while I'm good enough to gold the series/plat BNG, my gameplay in no way looks as smooth as this. I use airbrakes a lot though.
Do you set the airbrakes on analog triggers?

Thanks for reminding me that normalfags ruined Atelier. But I bet the devs are having a blast knowing that one of their games FINALLY went viral, good for them.

I always keep hearing people shitting on the game, but how bad was it really? Not even worth trying?

I liked XV, combat and ending was a bit wonky but it was still enjoyable. DLC's all are too short and feel like they could have been longer (especially prompto's). Ignis's DLC was the best though
If the game let you dodge cancel out of attacks I'd have had no complaints over the combat, that was all it was missing even if it is a little simplistic

it's fine if you weren't hyped to hell over vs13 for half a decade and then got xv instead.
story suffered a lot from being broken up into multiple dlc episodes and a movie and a short anime series.
There were some questionable choices with item use that make it very hard to ever actually die.

Still I liked it. If you just do all the sidequests instead of progressing the story it's a 10/10 road trip and camping in a fantasy world simulator.

same reason we can't have non regenerating health in FPS

RAAAAAAALLLYYYYYY Blazing hot roaaaads slidiiing field of you impressed on you RAAAAALLYYYYYYY

What game does this best?

Because the entire concept of a shitbox has died out. As an example:
Look at the last 2 NFS games. 2015 always allowed you to upgrade every car to the max and people were mad that some lower-level cars were capped to 299 performance level in Payback so they patched it out. Now every single car in the game goes up to the max of 399.
Now from an optimisation perspective not all cars are the same at 399, some are still better than others, but all of them are more than good enough to crush every race in singleplayer. In general these kinds of games let you upgrade every car with the highest level parts possible.

With more realistic games though that kind of progression is still common... assuming they even have a campaign to progress through. In PC2 you start in Karts or Formula Junior and then progress through low-level motorsports like GT4 and the Renault Clio cup all the way up to DTM, V8 supercars, "totally not F1 we swear", and Indycar.

Do these have a specific name to them?

lol all you do is go around in circles tho

What's wrong with hatchbacks? Hot hatches are pretty cool.

Ironically, the Ridge Racer series sometimes goes into autistic detail about brand and model histories, engines, updates, and even liveries and sponsors, despite none of it making a difference at all because it's so arcadey.

Anyone else have Daytona USA on XBLA?

>less but more specialized car options with actual customizations
This is the key point, pay attention to that. To give every car deeper customisation devs need to put in a lot more work. Doing that with near as makes no difference 600 cars that FH4 has is pretty much impossible. Doing it with 50ish cars is totally doable.

This is my biggest issue with FH4.
>always tune cars to be at least somewhat handling-oriented, especially if the cars are set up like that to begin with like the Lotus models
>take a PI hit every time because PI massively favors tire size and type over hp, weight, etc.
>can hold my own and sometimes even wreck shit even in MP against Boner Shakers and shit on smaller, more technical circuits like Lakehurst Copse
>at best they make up 1/3 of any given multiplayer series and the other two races will be retarded highway pulls with slight bends where everyone's 200mph understeer machines pull so far ahead that them smacking a wall and getting a speed penalty doesn't even matter
>get dead last every time

brake2drift is the real reason arcade racing games are going away. Only literal brainlets like that shit.

A consistent driving model that has a sense of weight and a feeling of attachment to the road. Don't fall into the trap of having a different "mode" for when you lose grip like a kart racer.

technically grid is race driver: GRID, as a sequel to TOCA Race Driver
however in steam it's just GRID so i'm assuming anyone who buys the new one is gonna have Grid and GRID

Project more. You're right though. The majority of the roads in FH4 are genuinely about three times as wide as they would be in real life.

I honestly believe flooding the game with ordinary roadcars is just a complete waste of dev time and licensing costs.
There should be some ordinary road cars. A few euro hatchbacks, a few saloons, maybe a volvo and maybe some SUVs. That's about it. There's really not much of an appreciable difference between the 300 various economy hatchbacks you can buy to justify putting them all in.

If a car is technically an "ordinary" road car that has become a classic over the years then sure, put that sucker in.

A sense of progression. That's all I need.

Yeah, dude, I know. It's also a terrible idea. NFSU2 had 31 or so cars, all customizable. If you can't pull off at least 100 fully customizable cars for release day in 2019, then you're just not trying hard enough, and more should come with updates or, god forbid, DLC.

The shining symbol of the 90's.

This is the same line of thinking that gives us games that have the exact same lineup of cars with minor differences, including the latest top tier, boring as fuck supercars that only 5 year olds give a shit about.

Face the facts man, 99% of people really don't care about driving the newest Bugatti that looks just like the newest Ferrari that in turn looks like the newest Maserati. There's a reason the racing genre died. The optimal lineup of cars would be well balanced with a lot of representation from every type of car around.

And it would still be fairly mediocre

>you either flood the game with shitboxes or have only boring supercars
You know there's a huge range of cars inbetween right? Sports cars are the most interesting class with the largest amount of historical classics. 100 different sports cars are going to be appreciably different. 100 different "ordinary" cars really wouldn't.

Ford GT40. The real one from the 60s.

I want to go back to the days of Kaido battle and tokyo xtreme racer. I want another enthusia and another driver san francisco
Actually a bunch of touges in the rain. I went to Ura and Omotte rokko, and they were at the tip of catagory 5 rain. Usui pass was the real scary one, because the road was littered with slippery slippery leaves. Irohazaka scares me though because of how steep and tight it was.

I went to Hakone turnpike, Hakone nanamagari, Ura rokko, Omotte rokko, Haruna(Akina if you're a basic bitch), Akagi, irohazaka, Nikko touge(Upper part of irohazaka) Usui touge, The C1 loop and Myougi-san.

Still baffled by people who get mad when you bump into people on purpose, if you want clean racing play another game

The "sim racing community" is insanely anal about that, probably because public lobbies are full of monkeys who wreck half the field on turn 1 every time.
So now you can't trade paint in touring cars or divebomb into a hairpin without everyone getting pissy immediately.

>corolla hatch

>upgrades include an air freshener which increases your mpg (does nothing) and mag wheels which give you a rep multiplier but has a random chance of going missing in between missions

I know, I play sim games
I got booted from a nordschleife trackday server in AC after some faggot in a hypercar or GT3 or some shit I forget what was butthurt I "didn't let him pass" (I was in a tuned RX-7)
All he had to do was wait for the corners to be over and overtake on a straight, its up to the faster car to overtake when its safe in multiclass races so why should I have to stop for him. I'd wondered why he disappeared from my rear, he literally stopped to kick off in chat about how I'm ruining his lap times

No joke, 90% of my races have been "clean". My first online race was one as well and I tought "Ok, heard about these clean racers getting anal, I'll play along".

Now almost everytime I try some fender bending I get people being pissed at me. This is not what I expected by the community of the spiritual successor of Destruction Derby and FlatOut, I guess.

Attached: honda_s2000_43.jpg (4096x2731, 3.17M)

>its up to the faster car to overtake when its safe in multiclass races
You weren't in a race though, you were on a "trackday server". So there are basically no pre-set rules and it all depends on whatever rules the server owners set. If they say you have to get out of the way then you have to get out of the way.
If you were in a race it would depend on whether the series has blue flags or not(as presumably the faster car would be lapping you). WEC does not but plenty of other series do.

CHOOSE YOU'RE CARFU

Attached: living in the past.jpg (1206x6128, 1.19M)

All I remember is he raged in the chat for about 5 minutes, the people on the server said it was up to him to pass me, I was still driving (and in VR so fuck even trying to reach for my keyboard), eventually I got booted from the server I dunno if he cried on discord I wrecked him or something
I don't get it either, I smash the fuck out of people on wreckfest I don't give a fuck, to me that's the point of the game. If i want to race cleanly I'll go play something else

imo the series would've been far better if the spotlight was on the Speed Stars instead of the spin twins, the latter two just aren't very interesting or relatable even compared to other supporting cliques like the Night Kids. Also the final battle should've been Dagumi against Itsuki instead of some literal who, think of how kino it could've been bros

Attached: gevfyz4u.jpg (720x536, 49K)

damn i really love these types of cars. what are they called? sports cars?

That one specifically is a Pontiac Firebird, but cars designed for dummy speed over style are muscle cars like a GTR while something stylized and about money is a sports car like a Camero

fuck, the only sports cars at a reasonable price i can find are pumas.

Seriously. They play with the idea of the Speed Stars putting more effort into their training at least three or four times in First Stage alone and then there's no payoff. Honestly, the fact that what was once a proper team, even if they were mainly in it for fun, whittled down to Iketani, Kenji and Dagumi kinda, is just depressing.
Watching episode 1 again and seeing Iketani act like a proper leader to these guys makes me hate how he was handled later. He clearly has the potential to get good, they just don't fucking let him.

I thought the Shinji race was good. It was against a Takumi clone and showed just much dagumi has grown and that experience in battles counts just as much as course knowledge.

The main reason that Inital D declines in quality near the end is that all the races are either against clearly worse drivers who stand no chance, cop outs for races that Takumi should have lost but won through luck, or races that we've already seen before
Even in the 4th stage the only real exceptions to this is are the rematch of the Toudo school which is saved by the Blind Attack and the race against God Hand which is great all around
5th stage may have given us the best race in the series with Ryosuke vs Rin, but every race is boring.
The one exception being Takumi vs Shinji which is so offensively bad it hurts. Because not only was an 86 mirror match the most unoriginal and predictable race possible for the series, but we already fucking got one with Waturu and the fact that they decided to do ANOTHER one, for the final race no less, is fucking insulting. Also, early Takumi was spacy but clearly had his moments where his emotions went wild, Shinji is a literal autismo who's entire purpose is to fuel the writers obsession with making every driver "His style isn't so different from Takumi's" which is the most annoying shit
They even pulled the blown engine stunt again except it makes no fucking sense

I remember reading a thread about this years ago but lost the screencaps.

Thats just one of an endless list of reasons why post stage 3 is shit. Everything about them from the stiff unexpressive art to the editing (getting excited for a race and eurobeat chorus? Forget that heres Ryosuke talking over it instead) to the other drivers lacking personality and connections with the main characters/the themes, disgustingly bad unfitting forced drama and the lack or a sense of community and car culture. Stage 4 has some good moments in the second half but everything else is disgraceful and actually retroactively damaged the previous stages for me. Doesnt help that Takumis story is more or less over at the end of stage 3 so thematically its just retreading the same territory.

Why?

Would you say I'm gonna enjoy my time if I'm a compulsive collector and get enjoyment out of oogling strange and uncommon cars in a showroom-like setting?

Because custom made liveries are available online only.

Oh yeah, especially the barn finds, but when it comes to racing them, the best cars just kill all meaning
Also enjoy E-Braking in 3 while you can because it gets pretty much ruined in 4

Oh right I'm retarded.
