As the two pairs are getting more heated, literal fire begins forming around the area in small amounts. At first it accents their battles, but then it starts getting out of control, the heat starts to get more noticeable. Ryu looks at Incineroar like "Are you doing this?" Incineroar looks dumbfounded and even it seems a bit overheated... then you hear it. "GET OVER HERE!" A spear flies out of the flames, just barely missing multiple fighters. Ryu catches it, getting a more serious look on his face. Then it gets called back, and he gets pulled along with it unexpectedly. Ryu prepares to do a flying kick directly into the flames, but as he does the chain vanishes and there's nobody there. He rolls out of the kick, only to have Scorpion teleport kick from behind him, striking him and sending him flying. The two face off, and dash at each other ready to clash as it cuts.

Unironically Crash Bandicoot. I distinctly remember the 90s-Early 2000’s and he was so popular that he had a literal section of Universal Studios dedicated to him. He was bigger than Banjo-Kazooie ever was, was the brainchild of one of the greatest development studios of all time, and his popularity is in full swing again thanks to the excellent remakes.

He also has great move potential, alt potential, and stage potential.

I was born in 1997, I’m technically a millennial and even I have memories of Crash’s insane popularity, I had friends who played any of the original three games and I played a tiny bit of them myself. I remember seeing commercials and merchandise with Crash on it and the first Crash game I owned myself was Twinsanity which I had a blast playing and I remember seeing commercials for Mind Over Mutant and wanting to play it.

To top it all off, somehow I even knew who Crash was before I even knew what Sonic was, I even thought he was a Crash character when I first heard about him.
