star wars the complete saga and both of the harry potter games
for me, it's lego racers 2.
the harry potter ones
Lego Rock Raiders
This.
Muh childhood game.
Lego Star Wars because SW was my favorite franchise for a long time The new movies have pretty much killed my interest in the saga, even though I loved Rogue One
mnog
Mata Nui Online Game
Name a comfier lego game.
Protip: You can't
Lego Inventor Saves the Day
based underage comfy poster
anyone play that mission to mars lego game? like the aliens vs the humans rts? It was great
Lego Indiana Jones 2 was fun. I liked the level builder
The mod community for it just released the map editor for it a few months ago actually.
crystalien-redux.com
lego dimensions was okay
i enjoyed opening new worlds, exploring them and doing quests
but it honestly seemed hollow, like it was missing something significant
the figures were definitely cool tho
but lego city undercover is easily the one i sunk the most time into
it was like a collectathon plus GTA, massive, filled with content and tasks, and areas to explore
The one where animals would fight each other like crocodiles and sharks and stuff.
Was really fun for the young me.
Lego Mindstorms Robohunter 2: Spy City
youtube.com
but only I remember this game..
>Older games
Lego Island, obviously.
>Newer games
Star Wars complete saga was the best one.
Lego Island 2. The first one is probably better but 2 really felt like an adventure, the setting and game in general was max comfy and I liked the minigames. Great soundtrack too.
For me, it's Lego Star Wars the Complete Saga and Lego Batman.
I have 1 billion coins in my DS Lego Batman cartridge.
Lego racers. Anyone who says otherwise is a fag.
Battles
Based
what happened to that open world lego game? is it still a thing?
ahem
Lego Loco released over 20 years ago you know.
Loco was the first video game I ever owned
MUH NIGGER
Lord of the Rings
Proud to post it first.
Hmm, that's actually a pretty tough question. Part of me wants to say LEGO Dimensions just for the Doctor Who content even though I've never played it
I can definitely tell you my least favourite though, LEGO Indiana Jones 2. Just how the fuck did they go so wrong with it?
lego city undercover was kinda cool, just wish they used more lego materials for the envirioments instead of just "generic realistic city buildings but with random lego props here and there"
This was enjoyable for what it was.
LEGO Rock Raider
HARD ROCK
>TT: Lego Marvel Super Heroes
>TT Fusion: Lego City Undercover
They both feel like they've perfected the open world lego formula.
oh shit lad
Lego Batman is the best.
Star Wars the Complete Saga and the first Batman. I hope the new Star Wars is fun, I’ve been hoping for a remake for a while.
Stunt Rally was fun.
Lord of the Rings.
fpbp
I remember spending a day turning everyone's hats into cats.
>the race level on Lego Island
Apparently they're doing some interesting stuff with the levels where the scenes they've used in previous SW games will instead be represented with side quests in the overworld while the proper levels will feature film scenes that haven't been used before.
Is there a more blatant generational divide than that between those who see the phrase "Lego video games" and think exclusively of the licensed TT Games and those who don't?
That's a pretty good way to split zoomers and boomers, I genuinely think zoomers genuinely think the Lego games start and end with the one kind of gameplay copy/pasted to hell and back.
Sad, isn't it.
>type in "LEGO Creator"
>just get pictures of Creator sets instead of the game
LEGOLAND probably only because of nostalgia and the main theme
>tf2 just waiting for the new Lego Star Wars game to come out
boy it sure is great having to wait over a decade for a single fucking good Star Wars game
Voya nui online game was buggy as fuck but still great strategy rpg experience
did you mean marmission crystal alien conflict?
wtf I though the project was abandoned
will download ot right now
I loved this game and got me into RTS games like aoe2
Lego Creator was not my favorite as a kid, but looking at it now it was really impressive for its day
A LANDSLIDE HAS OCCURRED
Was lego Force Awakens not good?
Lego Builder Island. It was a shitty browser game with no purpose, but it was super comfy, and watching your small island evolve over time made my fucking childhood.
Not this, I can assure you.
Basically a shit and kiddified Theme Park World, let alone RCT.
Lego star wars epi 3 because Mustafar was goat
holy shit! i forgot about this comfy game
Nope, people still love the game it's just that there was only a few working on it as far as I know.
>tfw no decent bionicle game beyond a flash game
I recently went back and read the bionicle shit on the wiki. I wish someone would buy that franchise and turn it into something more socially acceptable, like anime, because that actually was a halfway decent story.
The first GBA game is pretty decent
Junkbot
I would just build towns instead of rails like the game intended
Based I still have several disc copies
>and turn it into something more socially acceptable, like anime
Iirc they did a dlc set for it and some free content updates but nothing in like a year.
Minecraft
Clone wars was good and that was 2013
HI
I'M THE KING
Ice level on racers was kino
>spam max level green brick 2 win
>guys theres this kinda cool story but its about LEGOs and...wait...come back! Stop! I’m not a manchild! *spaghetti spills out of pockets*
As opposed to
“hey guys, there’s this cool anime with all sorts of weird and awesome twists, side stories and plot developments”
fuck off akhmou, let this niche gem be a niche gem, it doesn't need to be ruined by the smallest common denominator
This, but it was a product of its time. I wouldn't advise anybody to go back and play it for their first time because it's pretty antiquated at this point. The soundtrack is still dope though.
But lego is pure cringe. Its the embodiment of autism. Even 40k is less autistic.
thank you for reminding this exists
>Its the embodiment of autism.
how in fuck's name is it
>not including the hospital theme
ishygddt
Rock Raiders.
fucking hell, I want to play it but can't find it anywhere online
Mata Nui Online Game
Based Game but I only ever got to play by myself.
Amazing
Why, it's Lego Backlot of course
I also had a lot of fun crashing my wii by making crocodiles go on cars and planes in the Indiana Jones one
it was on the wii?
The PC game is a decent platformer. Also waiting for Legends Of Mata Nui. I've waited EIGHTEEN FUCKING YEARS
Anybody remember the MMO thing they tried a few years ago? I liked that game
yeah, both indiana jones and indiana jones 2
lego universe
That game was the best, probably my favorite game as a kid.
Not even Minecraft has vehicles that you can make and drive/fly around.
I just don't understand why there aren't any games around today that have as much creative freedom as this game.
sounds like a you problem to be honest lad
check myabandonware.com
I wish these games had depth and there was a hard mode, so adults could enjoy too.
Like, Streets of Rage depth... That would be cool and simple enough.
The characters have no weight in their moves...
>Star Wars the Complete Saga
I played through the entire thing with my brother when we were kids
>Indiana Jones
Same as above, but also I really like Indiana Jones as a character and the themes of adventure/treasure hunting
Actually been off and on playing through it since I never had the chance as a kid. Real comfy little game, love the look and music so far.
Hospital theme is godly. Don't know how but it's stuck with me since '99. Makes me think of better times.
Also where are my World Builders?
Best flash game right here
Besides the sequel, this game even had a spiritual successor called Lego Fever. Truly comfy Lego game
I prefer the ``new era`` lego masterpiece
en.wikipedia.org
2005 is the first big licensed Lego game.
A lego thread on Yea Forums
Im shocked yet happy. Favorite game for me was that lego racing game for the N64 I had growing up
My favorite is always gonna be Lego Star Wars 2 for purely nostalgic reasons. Lego Racers is alright too.
This, I use to play co-op with my brother. Shit was fun.
The peak LEGO game. It's why they should do more original games instead of licensed ones.
The first one I played - Lego Island 2 (PC). Man, Island Xtreme Stunts on GBA was super tough for me as a kid.
good taste user.
>that was 6 years ago
fucking hell I remember watching it at E3
That would be Lego Racers.
You know that was a PC title right? Go play it right now and have some nostalgia.
why was lego star wars the clone wars the only game that actually tried to do something different
What did they attempt, I don't remember it being that heterodox compared to other Lego games?
FUCK YOU.
I was looking for this game in the thread and you have to insult Legoland like this.
they put some effort (not much) into changing up the traveller's tales lego game formula
for example it included (very easy) strategy segments interspersed amoungst the levels along with a separate strategy campaign for both the sith and the republic
i have only played most of the licensed ones and they are fucking good. are the non-licensed ones good too or are you guys just being nostalgiafags?
Only because I replayed it a few years ago and it doesn't hold up at all.
>that mission when you have to delete all your rides to find the missing money
CUH-ROME CUH-RUSHER
The flight sections were great
The shooter sections were boring
The rest was eh
i didnt care about star wars but lego star wars was like the most major lego set and video game. lego indiana jones is kino aswell
Nice
Driving around the map in first person mode with a Chrome Crusher tearing through rock deposits like paper while your army of transport trucks pick up all the crystals was peak comfy. It was like Eurotruck before Eurotruck was a thing.
Was thinking of getting into lego at 24, is it worth it? I played with them as a kid and really liked it
Do anyone remember the game where you could build a lego city and roadnetwork and build your own cars and shit and make them drive around? Something like Lego Creative or Lego Builder
Modern legos are pretty poor in quality and you'll have bricks wearing out and getting stress fractures in no time
As a kid I learnt it was always under the same attraction, the Octopus Cafe.
Bitching about nothing. Same with people who complained about the alien stage; don't waste time crafting a perfect park if you know it's going to be fucking deleted then complain when it is.
Now the final stage and its obscenely specific scenery requirements, THAT was ass.
Lego Creator.
Don't forget the worst part of it all: you can't use everything you've unlocked in the free play mode.
Seriously, what's the point.
Thanks
Lego collecting and building is a tremendously fun and rewarding pastime, and will familarise you with a friendly and welcoming community who share your enthusiasm. It is, however, very expensive, prohibitively so for some people, and demands a lot of your time. If you aren't the kind of person who can put aside more than a few hours a week, then it probably isn't the hobby for you.
My interest in Lego was rekindled by how much I adored the 2014 movie, and I've been an avid builder since.
I used to play this shit as a kid. It came inside a cereal box. Apparently it's so rare that there are like 3 screenshots of the game on google images
is this worth $20 on ps4?
Maybe this is why I had no friends
This and Rock Raiders are the correct answers.
>bionicleshit
heresy
had a lot of enjoyment from this one
this one is good but its buggy at times
How's Undercover play on PS4?
devs seemed to have abandoned it, steam forums are a dumpster fire
that's the good shit
lego licenced games non voiced soul
lego licenced games voiced soulless
My favorite one is Lego Indiana Jones, I remember playing countless hours with my sister and having a blast.
I really enjoyed this one, I remember just going around picking items, waiting for the rocket and then just kick the ball and activate the rocket while the ball was in the air, that shit was an instant goal everytime.
Also, right now I'm playing Lego The Hobbit and I'm having a lot of fun.
What's the best Lego game for the vita?
THIS
It really bugs me seeing the Lego figures talking and NOT doing pantomimes and shit.
Lego City Undercover is the most soulful Lego game since Complete Saga.
