For all the current new flaws CP2077 might have, the most egregious error they made was replacing the original Chippin' In with the new one. What do you think, Yea Forums? New or old?
Personally I feel that the old one is much better. It's got a good level of punk, mostly in the lyrics but also instrumentals. The voice isn't some nonsensical screaming into a mic with no sense of coherency or volume. The new one just strikes me as something a shitty garage band would make.
I'm glad for your very insightful input, user. Thanks a bunch. Barring your retardation, I will also add that the lyrics are almost entirely different. Now they're much more simple and don't speak at all for the original lyrics or the "mood" of what the track is meant to be.
What the fuck were CDPR smoking when they replaced the old one with the new one?
Retard.

new one makes me feel like listening to v-rock from vice city so ill go with that thank you
Colton Young
The old one doesn't have the cyberpunk feel
Ian Barnes
The old one's lyrics are far more cyberpunk than the new lyrics are.
>Old: Got the chrome in the Bloodstream Got a metal soul I'm out looking for action Guess I'm on a roll Got the old mega violence When I boost, it's for real The capacitors roarin' inside my brain You know just how I feel Cold chrome, molten lead Can't be hurt cuz I'm already dead Ain't no time as a real as realtime I'm chipping in Chippin in (got my head to the wall) Chippin in (can you hear my call) Chippin in (I'm the man of steel) Chippin in (Is that how ya feel) Well, comon!
>New: Can you feel it Can you touch it Get ready cause here we go
Can you feel it Can you touch it Get ready cause here we go
My soul inserted with vital force Won't spare what Iʼm hunting for It's the animal in my blood Wouldn't stop it even if I could
Seed is sown - Iʼm chippin' in Roll the bones - Iʼm chippin' in Embed that code - Iʼm chippin' in Mayhem flows
Not backing down, never backing down Not backing down, yeah
Can you feel it Can you touch it Get ready cause here we go
Can you feel it Can you touch it Get ready cause here we go
Yeah
Suits run when I come undone Can't kill me Iʼm zeroes and ones Add justice to the peoples math Blaze way down the rebel path
Hear my call - I'm chippin' in Total war - I'm chippin' in Casings fall - I'm chippin' in Kill them all
Not backing down, never backing down
Can you feel it Can you touch it Get ready cause here we go
Can you feel it Can you touch it Get ready cause here we go
The fuck do the new lyrics even mean. It's just nonsense with an elderly man screaming incoherently. Screaming isn't fucking punk.
Nathan Butler
That second one is horrible.
Lincoln Adams
First one sounds like shit. Second is better but I still don't like it much.
Luke Kelly
I actually have to agree with you OP, 2018 was the better song.
Jose Lopez
fucking nickelback metal in a cyberpunk game, wtf man.
Luis Powell
>nickelback rock pardon
Kevin Flores
Old is better.
Jordan Clark
Yeah, old one is miles better. This new screaming shit is somewhat passable, but I won't listen to it more than once.
