Have you tried Outward? It's a mediocre game but everything in that game has weight.

Outward is quite possibly the worst game I have had the displeasure of playing, that anyone manages to pretend is good.

to be fair, concerning the point of armour, it's much, much easier to carry weight when it is properly distributed around your body, as opposed to its mass being concentrated in one place.

I sometimes like the extra difficulty that comes with the resource management, but it shouldn't be the default for games because it can be so tedious, and it isn't the default and that's good because it would drive away a lot of players. It should however be a toggleable option in games that could support it so the hardcore players can still enjoy it.
