>crafting
Fucking why does every game have this shit nowadays? Dont get me wrong, everything else sounds amazing, but no game that hás crafting as a side thing has never made it fun

Have we seen the crafting mechanic? Maybe it's so you can recycle the sticks and stones you loot from bandits. I don't mind it but I need to see it to judge if it's shit. What if it's just metal ingots + smithing skill so you can craft your own armory?

>Game about managing an army and eventually a kingdom
>have to go around hunting supplies like a pleb
It just feels out of place to me, but I hope they pull it off like you said

You design your own weapons not this sort of shit. youtu.be/H-wYZvApOmE?t=119

Nice, I can play this on my thinkpad

Cant watch right now, but if it's different from what I thought then, Im happy

>runs on Intel graphics
Based

all ruined by
>character ages and can die

What about the butter?

Is this like a legit map mode, or just something a fan put together? Why do some factions seem to not have a capital?

disable it by cheatengine?
probably one of the easier "hacks"

You can literally mod everything away.

Don't need to go that far, it's an optional feature.
If you want you don't have to deal with family and permadeath.

Im actually excited for that feature desu. Instead of being a single imortal murderhobo you actually have to take your descendants into consideration as they will further your legacy after you're dead

Steppechad reporting.

can I impregnate some random tavern whore and play the bastard to take the throne?

Same here. Love idea of CK2 elements.

Pretty sure you can change that

GIVE BETA KEY!

Attached: tfw_no_bannerlord_beta.gif (252x326, 3.65M)

i play these games to be the waifu and imagine how much better they could be with the right lewd mods

IIRC death by battle & execution is optional, but death via aging isn't.

Attached: zbu5l5ht0oe21.png (1800x1200, 1.71M)

I wish I could play the Beta at this time of day. I hope they'll send out these keys soon.

I was hoping some key figures (or at least the kings) were going to get a defined personality and not just the 6 or so template ones from M&B, but if they can die and pass on roles to their children then probably not
Bit of a bummer but no big deal

Attached: smug yuuko.jpg (311x326, 13K)

Isnt skyrim better for that?

Can you have bastards? It would be funny if you could go around cucking other nobles ans having them raise your kids

who /hiddenhand/ here?

they're practically a quasi-state backed yakuza

>Family dynasty system, you can die and play on as your offspring

Does that mean there's significant passage of time, and your character can like, get old and die of old age?

There's no way this thing lives up to even half of that.

yes but the passage of time (weeks, months) is sped up

Ah ok, I remember playing warband and like for the entire duration of my main character of many hours, barely a year had passed in game.

Why wouldn't it? They've spent 8 years and clearly have not rushed anything, and most of the things mentioned are just slightly expanded warband features

did they add ragdoll physics or nay? one of my few complaints about warband's that there's literally barely any indication of your enemy getting hurt. I want to charge through armies with my horse knocking people left and right.

who is best eligible bachelorette in warband?

>isn't OHK or unhorsing opponents with a single swipe

>warband factions
>relevent
It's the Bannerlord era now, Battanians are more relevent then anyone on that list.

I like to imagine Mount and Blade more as the story of a single person carving his way to greatness rather than a lineage thing like with CK2. Death mechanics (specifically death by old age) don't really work for me.

I wonder how they got by these past 8 years. Were the sales from the original mountain blade enough for them to focus only on bannerlord?

Kebab is cheap

Fellow Battaniafags, how do you cope with the fact that your faction of choice is a canon loser and is historically wiped out by the time of Warband.

1v60 battles can be fun.
>take battle at poor odds
>lose because it happens sometimes
>you have been executed
not really a fan.

By having the best archers in the game.

But why are they called the hidden hand then

What is Battania supposed to be? Southern Germany?

I hope Battania have a Gallowglass type unit

Attached: irish1.jpg (720x526, 98K)

Battania are forest monkeys, mate. You're thinking of Vlandia.

no, skyrim is too much about making screenshots. i like to be immersed mechanically, like warwolfs feature to improve morale by fucking your troops

Here's your multiplayer beta key bro :^)

STURGIA STRONG

No Battania is Irish, Welsh and Gaulish themed. So it would fit them

You are a pleb at first

I have no idea how you came to that conclusion, but I can tell you that's not the case having seen all of their troops. They are ancient celtic maybe, but that essentially is what I meant by forest monkey.

>my toaster lives another year
Undeniably based and/or redpilled

That picture is highly confusing to me. They're wearing 16th century helmets, yet they're covered in maille hauberks like

Relatively primitive arms and armor were still being used well into the 1700s in Scotland and Ireland.

>Filled with cheiftains who are ""ruled"" by a high king who actually has fuck all power
>use Irish and Welsh names for towns and castles
>use longbows
>famed for cattle raiding
>use heavily forested areas for ambushes
Literally Not!Welsh and Not!Irish
16th century Ireland was a wild place. The crazy thing is that they were able to nearly bankrupt Britain while being so outdated

Attached: Warriors_Nine_Years_War.jpg (736x539, 188K)

That sounds very optimistic, you'll probably need a 1070 at least to enjoy the game

Attached: 1566596382249.jpg (499x521, 95K)

I'm going to see how long I can keep a single sword passed down through the generations.

I assume it will be possible to disable it.
At least getting killed by combat, disabling old age death may be tricky since the game is so sped up.

iirc the Irish in the 16th century used a mixture of outdated native made equipment and Spanish imports/aid to fight against the English.

>the game is so sped up
what?

>mod tools will release alongside 1.0

Cool, might try the same

Are there gonna be naval battles in Bannerlord??

This but I'm gonna do it with a claymore.

Do we know yet which empire faction has which alignment?
>general
>senate
>daughter
Which is north, south, and east?

>tfw you lived to see the game actually release soon

>tfw so many anons died before the game released

They completely overhauled the companion personality system apparently so i can only assume they’ve done work with improving interactions with not just vassals but also the royalty

You still have to make it to March, bro.

Mod it out and go full Ghengis and have a 700 man army all your offspring.

>got diagnosed with terminal boneitis yesterday
not gonna make it bros

Idk if you're joking but I'll be including you in my nightly prayers to ask that you live to enjoy the game

general north
daughter south
senate east

if I die before march im going to be pissed

Attached: capture2.jpg (1884x2776, 792K)

Time apparently runs faster to facilitate the dynasty system.

Bannerlord is one of the few things keeping me from killing myself.

there's also a seasonal system and I'm pretty sure they did a blog about it mentioning that campaigning in winter is very difficult so no battles occur around then

Thanks, I couldn't find that info anywhere
I've got an image for that

Attached: 1548988425826.jpg (750x1090, 120K)

hope they have religion added in like Viking Conquest has it
they've not mentioned it though so I suspect not
they could just copy the Manichaean religion from the Videssos Cycle for the Empire

If things are that bad go ahead.

Do we know anything about how descendents will work? Will they have their own separate character sheet, or will they basically "inherit" your attributes/skills when you die?

Nah, at the very least not while I still have living grandparents.

I wonder how the game will handle the player character being pregnant.

wow

haha

because they'll be hiding their hand waaaay up into your colon if you fuck with them

>tfw someone will make bannerlord: tablet edition mods with more emphasis on overworld campaign

What race are they supposed to be? I know what the others are since they usually stick to a stereotype but these fags have me stumped.

>pregnant femPC dies in labor during battle
>control immediately transfers to newborn baby
>run around stabbing enemies' ankles

Should I boot up the middle age mod?

>Supports 1000 troops on screen, no modding/tweaking required
False. At least for my 1060TI.

>1060TI
uwot

>built my first PC two Septembers ago on the assumption that Bannerlord would be out soon
>got worried as the years went by that my budget build wouldn’t be enough by the time it came out
Good to know I’m still completely fine.

user, I fell for the laptop meme. I’m fucked.

Bare in mind this is the minimum for the game to function.

If you want to play with 500 troops on screen, as they're optimising for, you'll need something a good bit stronger. Stronger than the current ps4-pro gen, if you want 60fps.

And much stronger again if you want dat sweet 1000 on screen troop count.

There will almost certainly be a mod to disable this and do "classic M&B" gameplay, but I can't imagine why you'd want to. The Crusader Kings-esque lineage mechanics are the most interesting campaign change

I think they're meant to be Russians.

There are plenty of days left until March user, and plenty of ways to die

just stay inside until early access and be careful

Oh please, I already sold my soul for guaranteed one month of playing Bannerlord before the Devil takes me.

Not as the system works now, you have to be married and stay in the same town long enough to copulate, though i'm sure they could mod it.

I wonder what happens to the family members that you aren't playing as?
Can I take my son into battle with me? Can I teach my kids to hunt?
also I really hope hunting is in the game.

t

guys I'm so hype for the Violated Heroine remake in bannerlord
/tesg/ will be finally dead!

It's senate in the north, daughter south, general west.
This was in a blogpost

>battle size is GPU limited
Based on your cheap GPU and your post, I can only assume you're poor and the reason you're poor is because you aren't that bright

I have come to your videogame thread about this videogame to announce, proudly to the world: I do not like this videogame!

Bow before my contrarian and unasked for opinion

Let it go user

>World map offering ~3X larger play area

This isn't a good thing. The map in the original was already huge.

mostly russian/slavic inspired but I think there's a bit of Byzantine thrown in there as well

simple, mount is what they are for dogs and blade is what gets introduced to their necks

a whole random gen family tree extending back a couple generations would be cool, full on Crusader Kings style.
>having a chill bro as a duke pull some strings to net you some renown or favors from a faction leader
>a jealous cousin who could sic a kill squad onto you
>a scheming uncle in a different faction trying to get a war going to get some land of yours he fabricated some claims to

What model Thonkpad? I'm on an X220. I don't game on it, I just love using it.

For me, it's the Violated Hero III remake

imagine the possibilities, if its not added I sure hope a mode like that comes through

Because they direct market forces.

they confirmed you can have children outside of marriage
