She's a famous Pathfinder character and has a canonical journey she goes on with a canonical death at the end which did involve spending time in the stolen lands but doesn't involve her being the the lover of the duke. Duke's going to need heirs and she's doesn't have time to whelp them out thus you can't romance her because it wouldn't fit the lore.

Basically she's in there for the fans of Pathfinder lore, both of them.

What exactly is bloating it out so much though? If you had asked me after playing it how big was it I'd probably say like 8-10gb tops, but only because it has so much spoken dialogue, but it's 44-fucking-gig. Where did all that bloat come from?

Some of this stat bloat is fucking ridiculous. Like I get that being able to save, eat shit, reload and buff for round 2 makes things easier but like why does Conan have a +50 to hit for a million damage. Nigga could body a Tarrasque. Just started time house and it's nuts.
