There’s no reason for a “test run” I’m certain the dev team has already seen the popularity of undertale before, it scores respectively well on fan polls and the fact that it wasn’t present in the base game was obviously signs that it would make an appearance somehow as downloadable content. The damn high quality mii costume and megalovania is all that’s gonna happen, anything else has a next to zero chance of happening for undertale

Kris seems more likely seeing as he has an actual moveset that mixes mercy and combat as opposed to fucking you over if you attempt to kill something, but I'd really love to see what he does with Frisk

Now fucking Deltarune, Kris is the perfect rep for Toby. Kris has a better character design than any Undertale character barring the Skeletons and goats, a distinct personality that isn't held back by the dilemma of an Undertale rep's "pacifist, neutral or genocide canon" decisions/movesets, and the game is just undeniably better than Undertale is, even as a one off chapter. Stronger music tracks, too, you know the Smash team would make the sickest Rude Buster remix the world will ever see.

It won't be exclusive seeing he has demos on PC and PS4. At best it's a timed exclusive for a month or so if it goes that way.

I'm sure that's a possibility, but I don't think it's likely, The only reason I think that is because of Toby's constant shenanigans that only really work on PC releases, like hiding lore in obscure ass files in the game or intentionally crashing the game as a part of the story itself. I don't know how those moments were handled in the ports to consoles, but I don't see Nintendo letting someone break compliance that hard on their console. But I'm sure there are wheels being greased in regards to getting a Switch release ready to go as fast as possible once the PC game is finished.

I use mii gunner occasionally in tag teams with my cousin, and it's hilarious because of their forward smash range and having Samus B while being the worst looking thing in the game. This just makes it better.

It was definitely intended to be multiplat but things can change and I doubt Toby thought that he'd be this close with Nintendo within a year of releasing the demo. It wouldn't be the first time that a game was originally planned to be multiplat and ended up becoming an exclusive.

No. There's only one situation in which one of his eyes turns blue and you have to go way out of your way to make it happen.

I feel like a lot of people who play Undertale for the first time nowadays will be surprised to find out that Sans is just a chill, goofy skeleton for 99% of the game. All of his fanart makes him look so edgy out of context since it's all based off that fight with him in the genocide run.

Undertale, Monster Hunter and all the random music series in misc. don't have one, the video posted here: is not from Nintendo's official page, and there's no sign of an icon in game.

I only recently played Undertale. I thought Sans was the true antagonist and that his boss fight was a plot twist that everyone memed on.

Kris would be the better pick, With frisk and chara alt-skins.

I think they went the extra mile with this one because they wanted to sate people clamoring for a Undertale character without using up an actual character slot. Not realizing those people would double down on their yammering.
