SNK and Fatal Fury are irrelevant as fuck, bro. Their most relevant was being in a cross over game with CAPCOM. As in, they got carried by Capcom. Barely anyone bought or played Fatal Fury and the sales prove it. He is a niche character that got in because Sakurai loves Fatal Fury and SNK (He was so good at Fatal Fury he wanted to make his own fighting game).
Now before you say I am butthurt I actually really like Terry because I loved Capcom vs SNK and I am definitely excited to play as him. However I fully admit that this is a move that pleases an incredibly tiny minority of the Smash community. I happen to be in that minority which is sweet. If he is decent he'll be one of my new mains for sure.

I was surprised it actually was a snk character because leakers are usally wrong and fact no one brought it up before the mess up and suddenly jumped on it to get attention so I kinda just dismissed it
