Terrible meme. BN was great at having a completely video gamey story that had easily adaptable moments and characterization that could have translated well in adaptations if said adaptations didn't feel like rebooted alternate reality takes on the source material. SF had much less likeable characters which greatly bogged down the stiry whereas you could take the characters from BN and throw them into anything (like the anime did) and it would pretty much always be fun.

How exactly is this supposed to be the best one in the series again? It seems very mediocre, a clear step down from BN2 and from what I've played so far, it's just a bunch of reused story beats and elements from BN1. I'm just at the point after fighting Kingman, and I sure hope shit gets better, because right now it's all just extremely disappointing.

To address my complaints a bit more, so far BN3 feels more like a straight sequel to BN1 that ignores everything that happens in BN2 completely. it's more polished, not as imbalanced, more puzzles, more customizable stuff, and has more content. One of the main things I distinctly remember about 2 is how shit like gate PA curbstomped the whole game and you got it early as fuck.
