OG XC is so fucking jaggy that this remaster is a godsend.

I prefer the remake's portraits desu. The high-contrast lighting in the OG versions made the outfits look a lot more overly-detailed than they actually do.

The real question is what the fuck is up with the in-game lighting compared to before? It looks like shit.

I think he's talking about how the light/shading on the left makes it look busier than it actually is, and it's already pretty busy to begin with.

To be honest it looks way better.
The art style was the only thing that turned me off of the original Xenoblade Chronicles, and now that it's fixed, I feel like I can actually get through a playthrough.
