Tooty and Bottles are clearly the stage's models, but the Jiggy and Grunty are 100% brand new. Grunty has loads of detail close-up, especially on her face. Sakurai didn't make that.

Honestly, I'm not mad. Microsoft and Nintendo relations being so chill to the point of promoting your competitors is really what we need in the gaming industry. In any other point in gaming history they would've just said that you can play Banjo on N64 or not even mention it at all but they went out of their way to promote Microsoft's version of the game. Maybe down the line we can see further coopration on this stuff like more big name Xbox titles on Switch and retro nintendo stuff on Xbox and of course, more crossplay.

I was disappointed in no Rare Replay on Switch but honestly all I really wanted out of that was a DKR re-release. That and I don't hate Microsoft as much as I do modern Sony.

I agree, rare replay would fit especially well on a Nintendo platform and DKR would be great, but at this point I'm gonna take what I can get. Nintendo and Microsoft are still competitors despite their more relaxed relations. Banjo getting into smash and being on a nintendo platform again was a miracle in itself.
