It's actually pretty easy. Shitposters are much more in your face about it and take the cocky attitude to cartoonish levels. They will also not make any genuine arguments and resort to lolumad ish replies. If you want an example of what I mean just look at the first posts ITT.
When someone wants a character they will play safe. Even the most fanatical characterfags will be somewhat aware of what arguments they are using. They don't want to expose themselves too much or start an argument they can't win.
If you are still having trouble differentiating you can try the "why" trick. Basically, you make a simple reply to the post with nothing but a simple "why?" or "elaborate". If the following reply is not an argument you will know it is a shitpost and you can just ignore it. You are better off just ignoring it completely but at least this way it's only one reply wasted talking to a wall.

Here's some simple special move ideas I came up with:
>B: Homing Amulet
Reimu throws three amulets forward, two red ones and a bigger blue one. The big blue one can home in on enemies.
>Side B: Evil Sealing Circle
Reimu forms the evil sealing circle in front of her, which can trap projectiles and opponents for a short amount of time, and throwing others into it will make them take the damage of the projectile, like the black hole glitches
>Up B: Gap hag
Yukari grabs Reimu, and throws her into a gap that can be aimed with the control stick
>Down B: Yin Yang Orbs
Reimu can charge this move. The longer it charges, the more orbs appear. The orbs spin around her and do damage to fighters who get close.
>Final Smash: Fantasy Seal
Reimu bombs the screen and blasts anybody in her way with Fantasy Seal.
Other ideas I came up with are her using her needles for her Smash attacks and Yukari quickly pulling her into a small gap for her dodge
