If it's like the 3DS version, you memorize boss patterns until you can land level 3 hammer flips all day.

Once you master the ability to use dash air b in place (by quickly reversing directions on dpad after starting the move) you can melt bosses

You don't need mobility. Guard, dodge, and hammer twirl are all you need for defense. Ducking is surprisingly useful for a lot of attacks too.

Yes, but HAL isn't retarded and didn't make the netcode so that it slows the entire game down when someone is lagging (Smash/SMM2). Instead it just adds input lag, which still sucks but it's not the end of the world for a Kirby game.

I'm curious if its peer to peer or server based, probably peer. I tried like 5 matches, 1 was horrendous, 1 straight up d/ced, then one was slow but workable, and then one was half decent. Then I made a lobby myselr and it was decent again. So maybe its just 3rd world internet

-Blade kirby- EVERYone is gonna play that, No one will care, cause you won't be able to find anyone that is NOT playing this class.

-Hammer kirby- Basically just a cheap knockoff of sword kirby
He has much higher attack, and might have higher health or defense since he's a BRUTE, but he will probably be slower. Aka The Other Sword kirby.

-Doctor Heal more- NO ONE is gonna play a class that just heals,
Maybe some attention whores or really gay people. But Almost everyone will be looking for some fag to play this, since one one else will.

-Beam mage- Possibly the only class for people to try to pretend to be different and better then everyone, Expect stuck up people who think they are smarter and better to play this.

Even if they nerfed him unless they took away his freeze there's no way he's going below the other classes simply because of how many of the damn things were tied to clear time. Your clear medal? Clear time. Your exp? I think it was partially related to HP but also clear medal. A bunch of extremely crucial achievements that gave a lot of gem apples needed to unlock stages? Clear time.

well your level cap is raised by how many achievements you get (believe it raises every 50 achievements), and since many are tied to clear time you might find you need to upgrade more often to earn them. Also a shit ton are tied to online so that's a good way to grind them

I'm wondering if this game will continue to offer updates like new armor sets and bosses unlike its 3DS counterpart. It would be nice if they do.

Mage dps is ass now. Even the Doctor outdamages him.
Time freeze is still amazing, of course, but I think the ideal team would utilize the other classes instead of just going 4mage. It also helps that you get a damage boost for being at full health, so the Doctor's healing isn't entirely worthless.

Which is the best to play, I personally like doctor since I can sit back and easily heal myself and friends, not to mention the range with the diamond thingy. However I can't quite get down doing the up attack unless it's the beam version

I tried doing red and blue shards (3f20 and 3f24) but spamming FFFF set it to -1, only yellow shards went to the max when I put FF's further past the red and blue.

Even the air combo? I don't think it really matters anyway unless they discarded the Team Meteor mechanic, since the mages had the best team meteor and often relied on that more than the straight damage to finish off enemies, and were by far the best at getting the fragments.
Doctor wasn't bad because he did low damage before, it was simply because his best attacks were too fucking slow (several requiring priming before firing, unlike a straight ranged charge shot or a melee charge attack) and only really worked well while time was frozen, plus they typically worked best while the enemy was directly ABOVE him, which was not possible with several bosses.

If it makes you feel better, he doesn't suffer much this time around.

From what I tested, and this was only with beginner gear at level 7, Mage's air-dash beam was ~500 damage total, while Doctor was doing ~700 with his own air-dash attack.
As far as charge attacks go, Doctor's vials did 1300-1800 damage depending on which color you got, while Mage only did ~1000 with a fully charged time stop (which takes considerably longer to charge as well).

Not saying Mage isn't still the best class, just that there's reasons to drag along the others now.

That doesn't really sound like enough of a nerf to me, it just sounds like they changed the scale of the damage as well, since that's not a huge difference. I can't really test the change on 3DS since I'm L48/50 there so the numbers will be higher but at that level with the best gear in the game the mage wasn't doing a ton more and the doc did an immense amount with his potion explosion. In the 3DS one, the fully charged beams were suboptimal once the enemy was frozen, meaning you would stop at stage 2 then fire simply because it was faster and did more damage.

Since the Mirror World gave birth to both DARK Meta Knight, SHADOW Kirby and BLACK Dedede (his Japanese name), we know that titles mean absolutely nothing. In Star Allies (IIRC), Parallel Whispy was the actual Whispy possessed, while Parallel Kracko was the actual Kracko but not possessed - just angry, and Parallel Dedede was a clone conjured by the Jamba Heart, so even the title of Parallel means absolutely nothing. Not to mention that Parallel Susie bore the emblem of Black Dedede/Dark Mind in TKCD.

The english dub kinda screwed things up there. Parallel Woods and Parallel Kracko were the result of the spirits of their defeated selves/comrades ending up in Another Dimension. Dedede and Meta Knight's counterparts were the result of the hearts that possessed them taking their spirits (or part of them) into Another Dimension.
The implication seems to be that a spirit in Another Dimension can become a parallel counterpart (to hammer that home "Parallel" is actually "Another" in the japanese versions). Which holds some interesting implications regarding Nightmare considering Parallel Nightmare's existence.
